I guess the big question at that point would be, why the drop?

He won’t drop, Brooks is just one of the biggest morons on tv right now.

I kinda see either the OT from Oklahoma, Kirk at WR at 27...
Every mock I’ve seen has Fumagalli and the TE from SD State available in the third.

Reasons for a 'drop'
1. Linebackers typically go lower than they should
2. We (at least I don't) have no idea how he's going to physically perform
3. We (at least I don't) have no idea how he'll do in classroom/interview setting
Years ago, everyone thought Jarvis Jones was a sure-fire top 5 selection at this point. So while it looks as if Roquan will be off the board by the time we select, I don't think it'd be shocking given that we don't know that much right now. If you look back to past mock drafts around this time period, there's a lot of shite projections.

Brooks admits he made a mistake.

Bucky Brooks sucks at projections

They say he’s undersized. He’s 6’1” 220

We got Lattimore 7 spots past his projection. Let's not act like it's impossible, but Brooks doesn't know wtf he's talking about 80% of the time

Projections this far out are almost always wrong. Every year we see this come draft day that none of these draft gurus have a clue as to where teams value these players

LB is a better position to address in FA - typically the market favors buyers.
Would love Roquan obviously, but pass rusher is a more coveted position for Rd 1.

Everyone drops but the 1st.
Would be nice.

Roquan would be literally the best pick the Saints could add in this draft besides Bradley Chubb. Unfortunately he won’t be there that late. I’ll be shocked if he makes it out of the teens. He’s a guy you go up and trade for though, we just likely won’t since we’re already lacking a 2nd. At this point we should be getting familiar with the next tier of LBs. I want to take a front 7 player unless there’s a WR or QB that we can’t pass up

I just want to be in the position to draft BPA

If someone would have mocked Reuben Foster to #31 in January of last year, everyone would have thought that mock drafter was nuts. A lot can happen between now and the draft.

Peyton talked highly of Kamarra's football IQ. Said how high it was for a college player. They are focusing on football IQ, then talent.
Peyton attributes some of their past draft mistakes due to focusing highly on athleticism. If a player's football IQ was not very good they would almost ignore it if they had the measurable and athleticism.
This past draft shows how important football IQ is for their team.

Because csp gave him some Marijuana before his utox at the combine.
