I’m sure it’s a two or three year deal with extra voidable years to spread cap hit. Don’t get too excited about initial contract numbers

Under 50 guaranteed but only $17.5 per year for possibly the best LT in football. We could have easily done that deal and if he starts slowing down you can move on after 2-3 years. Tackles can play at a high level into their mid 30’s. I wish him nothing but the best and this team will miss him badly. He’s a true pro though so I hope he does great in Miami.

It’s only $75 million according to the NFL so they got him for $15 million a year. Big time steal and for that I can’t believe we didn’t match it.

Good for him but as a fan looking at limited funds this year I understand 100%. Lots of talent in draft and a few on the bench looking for playing time.
