I'd guess it's a play on Teti'aroa, the island near Tahiti. A little Google rabbit hole led to me learning that Marlon Brando bought the island from a guy who originally bought it from Tahitian royalty. Now it's home to The Brando Resort.

That is what Colston and Thomas ran. We dont need him to blow the top off the defense. We need a guy who can catch inside, in coverage, and at the sticks.

I have no problem going after those types of guys later in the draft. I don’t like gambling a top 10 pick that those types of players will work out. If anything that shows you can get that skill set at a higher level outside of the first round and sometimes WELL outside of it.

Isn't Olave and Shaheed enough speed?

I don’t think there is such a thing as enough speed in the nfl especially when one guy is off a major injury and the other is potentially a concussion away from retirement.

Crazy that a 4.55 is considered slow nowadays.

It’s not slow, it’s just not top 10 worthy

it worked out but I wonder had Brian Thomas come out this year, would he have been a top 10 pick?

this WR class is meh, seems like a group that will have solid careers but no real alphas among them

Tre Harris was dumped on for running a slow 4.54. Jayden Higgins was faster and more explosive than McMillan at the same size.

We need to reevaluate this class I think. The real value will come in the 2nd and 3rd, you’re getting the same calibre player as you can get in the 1st

It’s falls around the 28th percentile amongst WRs. It’s now slow-slow but it’s Well below the median

Mike Evans ran a 4.53. Is that a fair comp for Tet? I think I’d gladly take the next Mike Evans at pick 9.

not sold on this guy
might end up being next Drake London or Mike Williams, pretty avg receivers

need is still to much on defense or offensive line when you can find quality receivers into the 3rd round

Maybe it's the Polynesian version of white women spelling stuff like Jaxson.

Evans ran a laser timed 4.53 at the combine. McMillan ran a hand timed 4.57. Safe to add at least .1 to pro day times.

Evans was 231 lbs. Don’t think that’s a fair comp

Size wise he’s closer to Tee Higgins and Mike Williams. Both 4.5 guys at their pro day. Higgins went 2.1 and Williams went 1.7

Thats a 4.6 at the combine. No way he should go top 10 now. If he ran a 4.4 then he goes top 10. Big bodied WR that doesn't have break away speed. More of a possession WR.

His laser time was good to me. Can he catch everything? Can he run crisp routes? Is he physical? Can he out-jump most DB's and provide size mismatches?

I say yes to all of those but do we have a bigger need picking inside the top 10? If we can somehow come away with a player who will impact the team more, then I would go with them and see he's available a little later.

I had the same feelings about Marvin Harrison Junior last year who everyone thought should win the heisman somehow. He won so many contested balls because he had to due to being a little slow. Did not look as good as Malik or BTJ as I also stated. This is a tricky spot to be in.

The issue here is top ten is largely about scarcity- rare body types, or skill sets.

The type of things that don’t commonly hit free agency.

A large and effective possession guy is great - but not as rare

This year in the draft it’s gonna be very interesting to watch, finally all the old coaching staff connected to Sean are gone. What areas does KM decide to try and address with so many areas needing attention? I think if DA was still here we would no doubt take the WR, but with bringing in a new defensive scheme do we go edge, LB or something else? Ready to see it all go down on draft weekend

Hand timed is pretty meaningless.
