Are most of the Bridgwater bashers on here trolling?

It's definitely not a majority of fans, but there is a pretty decent sized contingent of fans on here that are complaining about Bridgwater every week. Am I being too generous in assuming most of them are joking?

Some of the savants on here apparently expected him to step in and immediately perform as well as a hall of fame caliber QB who has been running the offense for 13 years. Either that or there’s a racial component to it...

I really don't see a lot of Bridgewater bashers, we are just so used to brees it's hard to think of anybody else being the quarterback right now. Plus breeze makes it look so easy, we just need Bridgewater to not lose us games which he is doing excellent job of.

It says some sad things about our fan base if they aren’t. I mean they actually think taysom is a better option. He’s a fricking fullback for crying out loud

I wasn’t trolling the last few weeks. He’s been bad. But can’t argue with winning, and he certainly shut me up today.

4 times the Dome was chanting "Teddy, Teddy" today...… It was great.

He was throwing some dimes today with a couple misses at the end of the 3rd.

Last week was the only week I really complained about Bridgewater. He was awful last week and couldn’t get in the end zone. He played much better this week. He played scared last week and it seamed like he actually let loose this week and wasn’t hesitant to throw the ball.
When he plays awful, there is nothing wrong with saying so. On the other hand, he played much better and deserves to be complemented on his performance.

I think alot of it is Aaron Brooks memories. Teddy is black and Brooks was black so they are obviously the same.

Some of it is warranted teddy hasn't really looked that great overall during his time here outside of today.

That’s exactly it. Everyone who thinks Taysom is just as good as Teddy but gives you the elite running ability is a complete fricking racist. I bet most of them have white sheets in their closet. You’re a fricking genius for sniffing that out.

Or, maybe they’re just idiots who don’t understand Payton re-signed this guy for a reason. And it takes a little time to get your rhythm back.

On top of that, Blackwater wasn’t that bad against Dallas. 2 bad drops and a bunch of penalties had more to do with not getting into the end zone than His passes.

The guy deserves criticism where he deserves it. All preseason, he was mediocre at best. But hats off to the staff for knowing what they know, seeing what they also saw in practice, and evaluating.

And hats off to Teddy. He’s clearly gained confidence and stepped up with the bigger stage, and gotten the game to slow down for him. Every game he gets more and more confident and competent. He’s finally becoming what we thought and hoped he could be.

Anyone complaining about him by default NOW is simply wrong. I’m happy for him and for us.

The past few weeks he's shown reason to be worried about his play.
Today was a more phenomenal performance than most seem to think. The gutsy play he showed after the injury spoke volumes about the guy. He seemed a bit more decisive today and props to the OL for their play in this game.
Bring it again next week against the Jags.

Prior to this week, Bridgewater couldn't throw the ball over fifteen yards. That's not trolling, that's reality.

Probably a healthy overlap of Trump supporters, i.e., idiots.

He needs to get used to the Saints offense, you just can't walk right in and be as efficient as a Drew Brees in that type of offense. He was much better at it this week because you see him becoming more and more comfortable within the offense, but I mean it is a difficult offense to play in. Teddy looked a lot like his old self today, like when he played in Minnesota throwing strikes and all. But I think Payton needs to simplify the offense more and let him play the way he is capable of playing.

couldn't or wouldn't?

i could be way off here (most likely so) but maybe that was by design.

look it, his first start on the road @ Seattle you had to think they were gonna be conservative and they were but got help from the defense and special teams both scoring.

then the Dallas game I think they played it close to the vest cause last year even with Brees in there that defense didn't budge hardly at all against us.

shoot, Payton even put Taysom in there more today. I think they just opened it up more today.
