Be real. Most don’t like him because he’s a different shade. It is what it is.

Drew just needs to work with Teddy and get him ready for the future. Hopefully Drew can put his ego aside.

"couldn't"
The offense was clearly designed to protect him from making mistakes the first 2 games.

agreed I said it in a thread last week before yesterday he was not great, good, bad, or terrible
He was just serviceable.
A lot of that I think is he didn't trust himself and relied on the checkdown to keep the ball safe. Which is fine but it isn't what this offense is. This is the first game he took some chances an trusted himself and you finally got to see the player that was a Heisman contender, First round pick, and Pro Bowler. Most knew he had it in him and were frustrated he wasn't showing it.
He will never be Brees (no one will) but he has the POTENTIAL to be a descent to good QB in this league

4 times the Dome was chanting "Teddy, Teddy" today...… It was great.
He was throwing some dimes today with a couple misses at the end of the 3rd.
Even after all the chants and a 2 touchdown lead, whenever he'd make a mistake 2 women behind me kept yelling, "Taysom would have completed that, get him out of there."

Not trolling. He has been really bad the past few games..
It’s just being honest. He was great yesterday against Tampa.

I really don’t believe this is the case at all.
Everyone agrees they like him as a person.
To not criticize his play because he is black would be treating him differently.
He went 12 straight possessions without a td drive and wasn’t throwing the ball down the field. Obviously he’s getting better with experience. We are all happy to see it. I hope he keeps getting better.

People didn’t like Teddy because prior to Sunday, he wasn’t completing throws more than 10 yards down the field, and he was holding onto the ball too long leading to drive-killing sacks and holding penalties. This week, people are praising him because he corrected the obvious deficiencies in his game this board had been lamenting.
People also wanted to see Taysom Hill in at QB because he looked so electric in limited action in the preseason.
People disliked Aaron Brooks because he was erratic. Most people assumed he had to have been a drug addict because he was so inconsistent from week to week. One game, he’d look like Michael Vick and Brett Farve had a baby. The next week, he couldn’t get the ball within 10 yards of the receiver unless he put it right into the hands of the defender. Between him being a turnover machine, an absolute coin/flip player, and his flippant attitude whenever he made a costly mistake, he became pretty reviled despite his gaudy yardage and TDs.
Neither player is disliked due to their race. That’s just a stupid, low-hanging, baseless, insulting take.

You seriously can’t figure out why a section of the country that throughout the history of the sport loved white pocket passers and hated black qb’s cause they are dumb and want to run, all of a sudden want the unproven runner over the pro bowl playoff pocket passer?

Literally every single person I know personally who wants Hill over Teddy is a Trump supporter. It’s just a fact.

So are you saying Trump supporters are stupid or racist?

I think it's more like good to very good but time will tell if he doesn't linger as a backup.

I just stated a fact. But I can tell you that the specific people I’m referencing, race is definitely a factor.
If I’m just giving my general opinion, I would say it’s not a coincidence that most people who wanted Hill over Teddy are southern white Trump supporters. If Teddy was white and Hill was black, this would not even be a conversation.
