A healthy AK41 as RB2 is a good thing.

100%

If AK puts up say, 650 yds and a couple hundred receiving I think the offense will be in a very good position

You are a fricking idiot. AK's scrimmage yards from the last 4 seasons.

2022- 1387
2023- 1160
2024- 1493
2025- 657

Before last season he was 7 yards shy of 1500 yards and he missed 2 games that year. He could have easily had his highest yardage total of his career if he stayed healthy. Some of you mfers just talk out of your arse.

Chadzilla AK was making 12 mil a year - so you are willing to pay a 30 yr old rb who had his worst year at 29 ( all stats say rbs all fall off the cliff at 28 or 29 ) 12 mil a year ? You call me the idiot lol We could bring in a young guy on a friendly deal and give him the carries to make most of AK's production Ak will be the 3rd rb on this team Like I said its not personal - its business

Whatever. He’s still a good option for Moore and Shough in a close game…

It’s a “what can you do for us now” situation.
Best man up.
What you did in the past doesn’t matter this year.

You said he was washed 4 years ago which is just objectively false. That's why I made the idiot comment. I don't think Kamara warranted his current salary and in turn he agreed to take a pay cut.

Also there is no way in hell that Kamara will be the 3rd RB option on this team. If they use Kamara how he was used more early on in his career when it was a RB by committee situation, instead of being the only option/bell cow, then he will have a very productive season.

Probably #2 but camp is going to be fun to watch as competition behind Travis looks good for a change. One of the better position battles.

Man, don't be so sour... Kamara has shown nothing but love for the city of New Orleans since he's been with the team.

And Ty Chandler may get noticed.

This has to be the biggest running joke of the offseason. He may get noticed by another team after we cut him.

Kamara wasnt running hard like Estime.
Kamara has been coasting straight into the back of the Saints offensive line the past 3 years.
Estime ran like he was running for his life.
You'll get downvoted into oblivion for this but every statement here is a fact.

Kamara cares about the Saints more than his own ego (

and yet people here always have and will continue to hate on the guy.... he's been one of the most productive RBs we've ever had, is a great teammate, is self-less, and has remained a team player through thick and thin... everything EXACTLY what you want in a player you pick in the draft... yet, still gets a fair amount of shite...

can't understand it... he's one of my favorite Saints of all time, alot due to how deep his love for this team, this city, it's fans, etc runs...

Kamara could probably excel as just a WR with the team in my opinion.

I believe this is the intention. Use AK as a pass back/ gadget back for screens and running routes. I'm interested to see if Estime ends up in a partial FB role. He is bigger than Etienne/ AK/ Neal and is the only true power back.

You forgot the rookie from Ohio St.
My way to early pick to make the team. Biggest guy in the RB room.

I didn't realize he was that tall. They are the same weight, Estime has the largest hands out of the RB's. Estime was also the superior power back in college. Both 22 y/o.

I wouldn't be against keeping 5 RB's assuming AK is out of the picture next year.

Anything but seeing Kendre/ Chandler.

Even if Kendra has a great pre season I think he's bound for the PS to start the season injuries aside.

Just can't trust him. L Young, Salidveri, Taysom, Moreau.. Good riddance. Kendre/ Bub Means on deck. Maybe getting rid of our "First Team IR" will bring goodluck for McCoy/ Ruiz.
