Zo has signed with Klutch...I know Griff has a better relationship with them than Demps did but can’t help but think that he’ll be out of NOLA very soon.

Welp, nice knowing you. I don't want the franchise to have to deal with another Klutch client.

Good assumption that he is most certainly out of here?

I don't see a way forward with Ball. IMO both Holiday and Redick stay, plus we resign Hart and still have NAW. So we have the pieces we need in the backcourt. Time to move on and get what we can..

I like Zo, but I don’t want to pay him more than ~15 mil/year. This move doesn’t bode well for that.

Agreed. I just don't see him as a long-term piece. Signing with Klutch basically indicates all the talk of him wanting to be in a big market is true.

After watching this team for the past 5+ years, how are you convinced that Jrue is the PG that this team needs?
Not saying that Zo is the PG for this team either, but this team needs a true main facilitator that isn’t currently on this roster.

In the worst way
It's crazy we haven't had a true point in this long
Jrue should get traded and I'd sign and trade lonzo if that is still possible

I’m not a big fan of the AD saga neither but to singlehandedly want to blackball this agency because the star player wanted out is pretty brutal. I don’t have facts but I’m pretty sure if I google I can find a similar situation with another agency. Won’t be the last neither

On the bright side Klutch will help us sell him to New York. The main question I see is who should we draft with the #8 pick?

Well, bye. Send him to NYC and get that 8 from them.

Gayle just re-signed a Klutch client this past week. The org doesn't hate klutch nearly as much as the fans.

This x1000. Jrue/Ingram/Zion/JJ/Hart need to stay

I don’t have facts
Klutch is run by LeBron's BFF and pretty much any good deal he's ever gotten a client has been done using LeBron's leverage with a franchise. There's nothing inherently wrong with that except they tend to use the same tactics in situations where they don't actually have leverage and it usually ends up screwing both the client and the team he's on at the time.
- Nerlens Noel, passed up $50-$60 because Klutch thought he could get more and now is a league minimum player
- Marcus Morris reportedly had 2 deals in place, one with the Clippers and one with the Spurs, and both disappeared, then Morris dumped Klutch and had to sign with the Knicks.
- Norris Cole actually tried to do a hold out with the Pelicans, yes, that Norris Cole. Demps held his ground, he came back cheap for 1 year and hasn't been heard from in the league since.
Remember that I mentioned they tend to use the same tactics when they don't have leverage and that usually is a pretty negative result for the player and team he's on? Well Lonzo doesn't really have leverage on the Pels, so I'd say it is time to start looking for trades if Griff hadn't already.

I was fooled on Holiday. He was said to be 6'5, 200+lbs and could guard anybody in the league, plus he would thrive off the ball. None of that it true. He is small, is not a great shooter, is better with the ball in his hands and is being asked to do too much on defense. He can play SG, but he is better at PG. Especially with all the great passers on this team.
I really like Hart and Redick is the best shooter in the league (plus Didi is joining). SG is more than fine next season. Holiday is a top 10 PG. Let him hold it down for the next couple years, while NAW learns. Perfect situation..

I was on the fence about Ball. This helps give clarity.
Move on from him.
