LA gets a superstar for aging AD and we can’t even get a late first for BI.

This is nuts.

Dallas actually called and offered Luka on a silver platter. Weirdest trade ever.

We got BI, Ball, Hart, and bunch of mid picks for AD. LAL got a 25 year old super star for an aging AD. All you can do is laugh.

I wish Dallas would've called us. I feel like we could've offered them way more.

Davis is injured right now. He is 31. But to be fair his last game before he got hurt he put up 42 and 23 so he isn't a bum.

But damn. One first round pick for Luka?

The Thunder got 5 FRPs and SGA for Paul George

The Jazz got 5 FRPs and Pat Bev for Rudy frickin Gobert

I feel like Luka is easily one of the 5 most valuable trade assets in the NBA and that is all Dallas got for him? Where is David Stern to nix this for basketball reasons?

Apparently Dallas only wanted Giannis or AD. Sounds like they called Milwaukee first and were turned down.

"offered Luka on a silver platter." We could learn from them:

There had been significant frustration within the organization about Doncic's lack of discipline regarding his diet and conditioning, which team sources considered a major factor in his injury issues.

Now with this trade, everybody is going to be checking to see what else is going to happen this week

This definitely will have a bunch of teams scrambling to adjust. Bodes well for us IMO

Between Murray being injured and there being no market for BI, what are the odds the Pels can find a number to bring Ingram back over the summer? Obviously they'd have to move CJ (or Murray), and basically running something back that we know doesn't work is a terrible idea, but it seems like this could be where we are at.

I’m more interested in what the deal is.

CJ going out? We definitely should not be giving up any assets, if anything send out Green to someone for a fake 2nd or something

We should be talking to BI every day about no trade partners and that we would love to get you back for a -2- year deal.

I’m in favor of dealing CJ to a contender. We need to retool our roster and he deserves a legit shot at a championship.

Only way you sign BI is in conjunction with a Zion trade. Which I could be convinced of. You just can’t bring BI back with Zion and Trey entrenched as starters.

Seeing what Trey is becoming is closing the gap between trey and BI it is time to move on from BI.

At this point in time i think BI has more overall talent but he gets hurt a lot and seems to take forever to get healthy.

This season has sucked but it has allowed Trey to really develop.

Learn how to trade a 25 yr old future MVP for an older and worse player, no thanks. They're going to try to gaslight people into believing Luka is white Zion and not a guy we know is kinda doughy but is also a multi time 1st team all-NBA player, who also gets it in done in the postseason.

He has made first team all NBA 5 straight years and just led Dallas to a Finals less than 8 months ago. Nico Harris can say whatever he wants. He is an idiot and this trade will set that franchise back for an unknown amount of time.
