Everyone remember that this IS Windhorst, who outside of being Lebron's mouthpiece is fairly useless

This information would seem to work against LeBonk's best interest, and it's coming from LeBonk's personal Windbag. I'm so confused.

Have you seen Noah play?

Yeah he dont have a jump shot, but he brings an intensity that runs off on the rest of the team, and he's a pretty good defender..

That's the kind of guys you need in a rebuild

Rozier is a FA this offseason. Imagine if we scooped him up via free agency and Tatum/Brown via trade. Jrue at the 2 and Brown as our 6th man!

Have your downvote. We were starting to get some steam and he gave up on us. And he didn’t just say, could you guys trade me? No, he demanded to be LeBron’s bitch in LA. So frick all that noise.

As a Lakers fan I hope the Celtics trade happens and then Davis signs in a year and a half.

Best of both worlds.

So Davis and Irving win a ring in '20 and you guys struggle to make the playoffs. How is that a good thing for the Lakers?

Tatum is an alpha. We need an alpha on this squad. If he endears himself to NOLA like Kamara and MT, he will be a legend here.

Scary part is this, your small ball lineup actually swaps brown for Okafor.

And with the horford rumors being there, swap horford for Randle. That's potential.

You can’t actually play Jrue-Payton-Randle-jah in a lineup. That’s 4 poor perimeter shooters.

Think Lebron will be cool with the team staying pat and not signing any free agents to keep room open for AD in another year and a half when he's 36?

Good luck with that, he couldn't wait a few months with the crap he was playing with before pulling this stunt with Klutch to try and steal AD he's so impatient. AD to the Lakers probably has about a 10% chance of happening.

I wouldn't want Rozier. First of all, he is not that good. Second would be how much it would take to re-sign him.

I think Morris was the one interviewed and said the Celtics are not fun to play with now.

Morris said too many players only wanting to get theirs (paraphrasing). It was on Locked on NBA. Insinuated the young players were just trying to get theirs. Not Kyrie, or Hayward or Horford.

Interesting in Celtics land.

Jesus fricking christ do some of you NEVER fricking learn anything??

We did that, for three god damn rebuilds, using the same broken fricking logic that justified selling cost controlled assets to chase lower ceiling players that cost more that are no longer wanted elsewhere. All in the name to cheat the process and have a quick turnaround.

AD is forcing his way out and we are now onto losing two hall of fame stars because we couldn't build around them.

I don't want another 6-8 seed that flounders and falls apart.

As a paying customer are you happy paying to watch what is essentially the NBA equivalent of professional wrestling's 'enhancement talent?' I'd rather take some gambles than pay to see perennial first/second round fodder. It is the only way a small market team can legitimately compete in this league.

And to be clear I'm not against a deal that sends Tatum/Brown and draft picks(including the Memphis pick) to NOLA.

I am just against the absolutely broken logic of trying to treat NBA rebuilding like its the fricking NFL.

If you don't have the chest for what is needed to go through a rebuild as a small market, find a different sport. Because I'm fricking tired of a decade of those people saying the same shite over and over and us getting into the same position of having to do it all again because we did their way and it didn't work for the fourth time... and their prescription? More of the same.

we are going to hear so much shet in the next few months, good reading material.

Big Boy Windhorst working with his buddy LJ to try and mess this up now.

I think thats what is sort of interesting about this rumor.

The guy is typically Lebron's mouthpiece but he is presumably passing along something that helps the Pels leverage.

Because the obvious Klutch angle would be to get out there that Tatum/Brown were disgruntled about possibly going to the Pels.

The idea that one or both might welcome the opportunity kind of has to motivate the Pels.
