They can be an average team and still have a bright future.

The team is probably not going to be terrible next year. Unless they do end up with Zion and decide to part ways with Jrue to really start a rebuild.

Have your downvote. We were starting to get some steam and he gave up on us. And he didn’t just say, could you guys trade me? No, he demanded to be LeBron’s bitch in LA. So frick all that noise.

Again...not defending the way he handled it. But I'm just saying that Tatum wanting to be "the guy" doesn't mean he won't turn on us if we don't put a winning team around him

Does he even start over Kenrich?

A roster of Jrue, Tatum, Williams, Jah, brown, Jackson is young, cheap, and flexible. We can build with that and do it the right way.

All I needed to hear. I’m all in on the Celtics trade as long as it includes Tatum

+ whoever they draft this year.

Pels pick is likely in the 7-9 range, could get a nice player. Then I’m sure Boston will include picks.

Would be great if Cam Reddish fell to the 7-9 range. Daniel Gafford and DeAndre Hunter would also be good pickups.

Would be great is Ms. Gayle went all in on scouting and player development. Imagine if we could turn late picks into productive, if not star players like the Spurs?

If we can swing a deal with the Celtics, we can build this the right way. We can have the assets and flexibility to add someone via trade, be patient and build through the draft, and cash to address FAs. It really is the safest and most prudent route.

Well we already added 5 second rounders last week. We're certainly on our way to change from how we've done things in the past.

I am still hoping for this team to get in the 6th best odds, or at least 7th.

If they can get a top 4 pick (preferably top 3) AND get Tatum. Whew.

Jrue/Tatum/Zion

Morant/Jrue/Tatum

Jrue/Barrett/Tatum

Jrue/Reddish/Tatum

Small market teams are actually good for some really good players. Tim Duncan was perfect for San Antonio and Westbrook has really embraced OKC. Tatum probably sees it as an opportunity to be the face of the franchise where Davis seems ready to be the 2nd guy so he isn’t the leader. Building around Tatum is the key and a bunch of really good draft picks is going to be needed.

Guys I really can’t wait until the draft. It’s the first time I’ve been excited for the draft in years!
