We also dont need another PG

Who’s the PG of the future on this team? If you look at it from a long term perspective, we need a PG, a stretch Big, and probably a 3&D Wing.

ETA: you draft for the future, not the present. Bledsoe and Hill are bandaids.

If he’s there Aleksej Pokusevski is worth the gamble at 24

I'd be more comfortable with Jalen Smith if he falls, but Pokusevsk is certainly a risk worth taking and I would be ok if he was the choice.

His upside is enormous but he could also end up as another Dragan Bender. Young big guy with enormous upside and some alluring skillsets but like so many Euro bigs, can't develop into the potential or translate it over.

Leandro Bolmaro. Draft and stash pg with size and playmaking skills.

Alekesej Pokusevski if he's there. Stash him somewhere where he can put on some pounds and you may have found the perfect counterpart to Zion. Well worth the risk to me.

Tyrell Terry is also someone that is growing on me. Not good size but a feisty defender and looks like an elite shooter.

Assuming all four are still on the board, I'd go

1. Desmond Bane
2. Xavier Tillman
3. Jaden McDaniels
4. Grant Riller

I like his potential, as well as the fact that he's under contract with Barcelona for a while so we can let him develop overseas if I remember correctly. Has a great FT# so hopefully that is a better predictor of his potential as a shooter than his FG and 3PT percentages. Just a good draft and stash prospect.

Lopez says we didn’t, Shams said we did. We don’t know for sure.

I’ve seen several mocks from National guys with us with 42 and not 60

I wonder if we're waiting for the draft and might send them a future 2nd if we need 42 to move up tonight, but if we don't they get it?

I would like to move up from 24 using our 2nds. Not sure how far we can go, but depending on the person, maybe all the way to 17.
Minny doesn't have any picks after 17, and none next year. Dallas has pick 31 after 18, and just has their 2nd next year. Miami sits at 20, and has no other pick in this draft or next years. Miami seems like an easy one to move up to at #20.

If Saddiq Bey or Tyrese Maxey or Nesmith were to fall to 17 or 18, i think you've got to do what you can to get that pick.

If they aren't available, give me Bane, Tyler Bey, or an international guy. I don't want a freshman at #24.

I'd really like Paul Reed with our 2nd round pick.

Terry is my guy. I just think he has the IQ and work ethic to become an average defender and his shooting could be top of the league.
