I think Herb is the universal choice just because he has so much dog in him. That block he made on 6’9” Paul George shooting from 3 came all the way from the free throw line to block it to himself then follow with the dunk should be his cementing highlight play for DPOY. What a steal of a contract we have him on.

I know that being an LSU fan and Pels fans isn't necessarily a 100% overlap on a venn diagram, but who would've thought that an Alabama-product would be the fanbase's consensus favorite Pels player?

I am a Lafayette native that graduated from Alabama in the 90s. TBH I did not follow Herbs career that much while he was in college.

There’s nothing I don’t like about Herb. From how he is on the court, on the bench, off the court, etc. Really like just about everyone on this team, but Herb for me is the easy answer as most favorite Pel.

You also dont get any extra bullshite with him. He aint about markets and stardom. We dont have to worry if he wants to be there or weight issues (sorry for the crossfire Zion)
