Agreed, which is why I said we should still just try to win every game that we can, but it wouldn’t be the end of the world if the Suns jumped us.

I don’t listen to every episode, but I’ve caught him being complimentary of the Pels earlier in the season. It’s not unreasonable to have a healthy skepticism of this team’s ability to win a first round playoff series considering we are only projected to be the 5th seed, going against a team with a better record, with players who haven’t done it before.
It probably doesn’t help that Vernon’s eyes were glued to the TV for two of our most spectacular collapses of the season against Memphis within a week’s time.

It's a podcast with Kevin O'connor. It's a Ringer podcast so that's why most here will say they have no idea. I don't listen but at least know it exists.

I've seen a lot of people lately say the same thing. Multiple people on Lowe's podcast recently have said similar things.
That we would be one of the teams everyone wants to face in the first round for various reasons, no star power, no one believes are real.
Just to be fair, our losses have mostly been to good teams and we have beaten a lot of beat up teams and bad teams.
Just have to keep winning, that's it.

I’d think we were dangerous simply because we have an extremely deep lineup who can generally guard anyone. And that is before we see what Zion et all do in the playoffs when it isn’t the grind of the regular season.

Lowe pushed back on that when talking to Pelton on this week's pod. It was a good listen with Andrew Lopez in the first 40 minutes or so, focusing on the Pels, and then Pelton coming on for the second half of the pod talking about all defense, and they both said that Herb is essentially a lock to at least make the second team.

Our most likely first round matchups at this point are minny/LAC. With these teams' injuries, you could easily make an argument for the pelcians being the better team.
