Seems Charlotte gave up more than I would have expected for Allen and O'Neal.

Toronto trying to move Ingram before Barrett was not in my bingo card.

Seeing some speculation that Suns may move Green to try and get a PG. Would a 3 way trade of distressed assets help us? Something like Poole to Memphis, Morant to Suns and Green to Pels? Is Green worth a shot anymore?

Maybe age / contract ? Both are gonna want new contract, but BI will be 29 later this year.

It's actually funny. Toronto kept putting out that they weren't happy with the moves they made last off season.

Kevin O’Connor:

quote:

The Warriors are attempting to trade for Wizards big Anthony Davis and then sign Lakers free agent forward LeBron James, according to multiple league sources.

A trade for Davis would have to include Jimmy Butler, who is on an expiring $57 million contract while recovering from a torn ACL. The Warriors would also have to include draft capital — they have two future firsts and four first-round swaps to work with in any deal.

I’m not sure the Warriors have enough draft capital to make the Wizards eat $57m of Jimmy Butler.

They would be eating 57 million of AD, basically the same thing.

AD has a mild amount of trade value, even perpetually injured.

Butler coming off an ACL tear? Probably not much. Especially if he would be getting paired with a $50m+ Trae Young. :vomit:

Isola and Scalabrine (Starting Lineup on SXM) were just discussing Brown for Trey and Zion and whether Boston would do that.

I wouldn’t. Boston would have to include more assets, way to much value given up by us

Cmb is really good. I remember people thinking he got drafted to high when the raptors took him at 9.

BOS: Zion/ Trey
MIL: Hawk/ Poole/ Bos 1st
Pels: Brown/ Hauser/ M Turner

Wouldn't be terrible with no picks attached if we wanted to try something new.

Murray/ Fears
Brown/ Hauser
Herb/ Bey
Queen/ Karlo
Turner/ Missi

And I believe would have a $8-$12mil NTMLE to add another role player. Not saying we should do it, just food for thought.

J Brown > Zion

Turner + Hauser possibly have more impact than Trey by himself too.

The rumor mill is some combination of Clingan, Scoot and Sharpe with multiple 1s going to Boston as well

I’m genuinely asking as I’ve been a checked out fan for 2 years.

Would Fears, Queen, Bucks 2027 first rounder, Herb and perhaps another 1st be a competitive offer to rival the Blazers?

I know Fears was great late in the year and Queen had moments.

Enlighten my uneducated NBA self.

Bos:
Poole (cut)
Queen
Fears
Bucks 2027 first
Piece from 3rd team for Herb

The Pels would never send out Queen, Fears, Herb, and Bucks 2027 First.
