Maybe a “new take” here, but the speed of our coaching hire has nothing to do with overall fan interest and support for the Pels.

Not what I said, or meant. My take is that when a team in a professional sport is searching for a head coach it seems that at the very least you’d have daily fan speculation in the “Official” thread. Sure there are other threads moving, so maybe I misunderstand the Official designation. Perhaps the Official thread is for reported news that can be linked, for example?
And I’m not pointing fingers at anyone here, we are the fans that follow and care. Perhaps we’re jaded. No shade on any of you guys. I’ll hang up and wait for news.

Also, I’m pretty sure Vinson getting an interview is just a solid to him. It gives him experience in HC interviews and gets his name out there a bit in the HC circle.
