I just read an interview he did last spring. It's amazing how thin the line is from being in the league or out. It sounds like he is trying hard and has played well internationally. But even he knows he'd be a deep bench guy. It's just cheaper to pick up a rookie or a younger guy with some potential.
The prototypical poor 3-point shooter who doesn't play defense. Perfect for the Lakers.

I know it is gauging who will bet more than chances but the LAL being at 15/1 is laughable.
They can win if things work out but 15/1 is sucker money. Same with Brooklyn at 15/1.

I am. But even they aren’t stupid enough to lay money on this team until Westbrick gets moved.

Warriors 3rd? How are they not first?
Raptors are fishing for Mitchell. That 40/1 could be looking really good in a couple of days..

the joke answer is celtics are getting KD and this 4 to 1 is based on tea leaf reading the nets trade.

Because the path to the finals in the west is much more daunting than the East currently. As it stands right now, it looks like Boston and Milwaukee are borderline locks to make the ECF. Whereas in the west, GSW has to get through some combination of PHX, MEM, LAC, DAL, and NOP. All of those teams could push GSW at all 3 rounds of the playoffs.

I don't see any team pushing a healthy Warriors team. Especially with the ascending youth they have. It is ridiculous how loaded they are..

“Healthy Warriors team.”
Problem is that they have had a lot of injuries over the years to Steph, Klay, and some of their young guys like Wiseman.
They can ball with anyone if healthy. But can they ball if they miss Steph for a significant part of the season?

I agree 100% …. Which is the reason we need Jaxson to start hitting his potential. Herb, Trey, Nance, Dyson, and Jose are solid, but Jaxson is on the margin, where if he hits can entirely change the calculus for the Pels. Anything the Pels could get for Hayes right now is meh

I think they unarguably upgraded their veteran bench pieces as well. DiVincenzo and JaMychal Green are incredibly good signings. Specifically DiVincenzo.

I can't debate that. Which is why I put in a qualifier. I do think they can get by without either Curry or Thompson for good stretches now with Poole emerging. Wiseman is found money as he has never seriously contributed before. Moody showed out in summer league and people are raving about him.
It is a stupid amount of talent. Maybe the most talent they have ever had. What if Wiggins takes another step in a contract year?

gsw
clips kahwi 100%
suns
denver healthy

Memphis was better without Ja last season, and it's better for Memphis if Adams is out for GSW too

Agree with the Adams part, but they need a guy like Ja, ultimately to win in a playoff series. He can get his own shot and create for others. Nobody else on Memphis can do that. Sometimes you can’t be a slave to pure analytics and you just have to watch the game. Ja is the reason why Memphis is good right now. And he is the reason why they will potentially win the title in the future.
Memphis tries hard, is well coached, and has a good system. That can win you regular season games over poorly coached or undisciplined, low effort teams.
Jaren Jackson, Bane, and, Tyus Jones, Zaire, Dillon Brooks without Ja, does not give you a better chance to win a playoff series than when you have Ja available to play.

The Mavs are pretty stout and will go as far as Doncic can carry them. It's all built around him pretty well. Great defensive role players and complimentary scorers. It is a showcase that will garner him the MVP.

It's not. I think they are going miss Brunson and take a step back this season.
