Multiple teams — including Atlanta, Minnesota, Brooklyn, Chicago and Philadelphia — are expected to compete for PJ Tucker in free agency. All are expected to offer the full mid-level/TPMLE exception. He is unlikely to return to Miami, per sources.

If money was the same, I’d imagine he’d go where he gets the most minutes as long as that team has legitimate shot at competing.

Mo Bamba has interest in joining the Chicago Bulls by the end of the night, per @JCowleyHoops “Problem is feeling isn't mutual at his current asking value.”
Boy meets team
Boy wants team
Boy ends up in the friend zone and embarrasses himself by regularly picking up team from the airport and dog sitting for team.
Take as old as time, Bamba.

Dyson plays the 1. Dyson plays the 1. Dyson plays the 1.
What precludes him from playing the 2 or 3?
ETA: typically a player is only pigeonholed as a 1 because they don't have the ability to guard players on an opposing team, outside of other 1's. Dyson can guard 1-3 (maybe even some 4's), there's no reason why he has to be "only" a 1.

We really should be banning posters at this point that talk this way regarding positions. We should be way beyond saying a player only plays the one. Especially on this team. Let’s not go backwards as a fan base.

Man, let me get this straight.
In a Lonzo sign and trade we got Sato, Temple and a 2nd
And in an Ayton sign and trade, the Suns will get Turner or John Collins?
I know we got cap space and it worked out when we got CJ, but damn.
Just goes to show, you can actually get value out of the actual sign and trade if you have a spine.

Honestly if Daniels ever plays the PG position full time, he would probably hit his ceiling. Until then, he’s going to play 1-4 or anywhere they can use him.

had they taken back markaanen for example we would not have CJ

Ayton is a lot better than Lonzo though.
Also, Atlanta/Indiana would be including these players for needed salary matching purposes. The Bulls had salaries that could be included that weren't of that caliber.

I think every team that had a rfa last year that got traded via sign and trade got good value except for Griff.

Shamet just said it and it’s something we’ve discussed. I don’t expect us to do anything any time soon (which of course means we make some blockbuster trade at 5:01).
We will need to let the market play out, some big trades to happen and then we can hope a team wants to make a margins trade.

1) Chicago wasn’t giving up anything valuable for Ball, it was get what they would give or overpay him, and we were not going to overpay him.
2) Suns can’t get Collins in a s&t, his salary is to high.

We essentially drafted our Ball replacement this year:
Side note, Dyson looks huge and has a frame to add bulk too.

Thats a monster of a contract

Side Side Note, Willie looks slimmer as a coach than he did as a player.
Posted on 6/30/22 at 12:58 pm to TigerinATL
much slimmer. He definitely had a little bit of chunk to him at times in his playing days

He is definitely not worth this. Yikes.
