Apparently Willie Green is coaching for his job and still thinks we can win it all.

Looks like it's a big conflict going on on airline highway.

Willie is messing up the tank job.

Even if he doesn’t, he still not a good coach to get us wins. He had a decent roster in the beginning and look at our record now. Spurs are terrible without Pop and Wemby.

Our schedule is brutal to finish out the year. I'll be shocked if we get to 20 wins

If this is the case then they should fire him yesterday.

I quit watching a while back when it became obvious IMO that they were not serious about winning.

No real reason to keep Griff around ether, He's failed IMO and is looking like the guy a lot of people warned Pelicans fans about when he was hired. Dude rode the talents of Lebron James in Cleveland and though he was recreating that in NOLA with Zion.

He’s been here six years and has two playoff wins to show for it. Not series, literal game wins. I don’t know of any other franchise that would stick it out with an executive with that kind of record for this long

As long as we finish in the Bottom 4 and secure a Top 3 pick, I’m cool with a couple wins now and again.

Moving Brandon Ingram(3) for a 14% shot at a Top Draft Pick is a solid sacrifice to the Basketball Gods!

Not even the worst team this season.

The Wizards have no talent, period, and have generally made shite drafts like Johnny Davis at 10th overall.

It’s a miracle this roster is sitting in the tank position it is this year and Willie Green is a huge reason why.

We’re better than SAS without Wemby, especially at home with a healthy Z.

TM3, Z, and CJ didn’t play that well either game and we still won.

If we don’t finish bottom 4 this team deserves what it gets

There is a very good possibility that Ingram does not play again this season..

I mean the injuries and the timing of when they happened are the main reason why. I'm all for moving on from Willie in the offseason but even the best coaching job ever would only have this team with at best 10 more wins considering the roster, which would put us still a few games out of the play in the Western Conference this year, and a likely much crappier draft pick than where we will end up.

Like others have said remaining schedule is brutal and almost impossible to catch Spurs, Blazers, Bulls, Nets and 76ers. Going to finish ahead of Wizards, would be nice to finish behind one of Jazz, Hornets, and Raptors.

I want a top 2 pick so we can ensure we get one of Flagg or Dylan Harper. Ace Bailey would most likely be 3 but to me he’d be almost like looking at BI all over again. He’s very tall and lanky like BI and takes way too many contested mid range shots like BI. Bailey makes them a lot of the time but where do you play him when Herb, Zion and Trey are all healthy? He’s a 3, really too skinny to play the 4 but he’s 6’10” so I’m sure in a pinch but that’s where Z will play. No way Bailey can play the 5 under any circumstance and he’s not a great passer or defender but the kid can get buckets. I love Flagg’s all around game on both ends of the court so you make room for him somehow even if that puts Herb coming off the bench or maybe run point Zion with Herb, Trey, Flagg and Miss/Olynyk. Truly though I think Dylan Harper is the perfect fit for this squad. He’s be your PG of the future and hopefully the #3 to Zion and Trey we have been looking for. You’d have to then figure out what to do with Dejounte once he’s healthy but that might not be until this time next year depending how quickly his rehab goes. If we someone can land either of Harper or Flagg, get a competent coach and we stay healthy next year this team could have a huge turnaround.

Yeah. There aren’t many teams who have a better roster than Herb, Zion, CJ, Murphy, BI and Murray. Even if 3/4 of them are only healthy. All of our players regressed this year (besides Murphy). It’s a coaching problem.

Sounds like a leak Griffin put out to get the fans off his back.

Anyone that thinks Griffin should still be in charge of our draft/next coaching hire, you're a part of the problem.
