As part of four-team Steven Adams trade, Thunder also receive George Hill, Darius Miller, 2023 Denver protected first-round pick and second-round picks in 2023 (via Charlotte) and 2024 (via Washington), sources tell ESPN.

So it looks like we’re sending George and keeping Bledsoe at the moment

Yeah, there has to be more salary going out, that would leave us around 3-4 million short

The nuggets pick we are trading is a few years down the road. I think we will have a pretty good idea of what Ball, NAW, Hayes, Kira, are by then.....

Why isn’t it good for us? Can’t say that without giving a good reason. Smh.

And he is still on a contract that will run out before a few years down the line
Then what

That’s not terrible. What are y’all talking about.

Wow! I didn’t see us giving up all that for Steven Adams but maybe someone else is coming back.

I like Adams as a player, but that is not a good trade. I would rather have kept Hill and the picks and used part of the MLE on a bargain big man than give up all of that for a year of Adams.
If it’s really all about cap space this coming offseason you could always have flipped Hill for an expiring at any point.
I really hope there’s more to it than this.

Gladly
He’s a center that doesn’t stretch the floor. Him and zion in the floor is ni shooting at all. Clogs yo the lane. And we give up a future first and George hill who has positive value? It’s really bad. Basically I see this bc Stan prob wanted a veteran leader. But way to much of a price to pay and you already had one if you just keep George. It’s bad.

And I'm sure that'll happen. We were just talking about giving up George Hill for days but now it's an issue. What's the real complaint here?

Yeah I don't know how I feel about this now.
I think I'm fine with it - we had too many guards and needed to move one, while also getting a big that can play serious minutes. Hill was essentially a JJ clone and I'd rather JJ.

Having Adams with zion won't bring down the scoring. Zion will still average at least 25 points as well as Ingram.

What if they extend adams?
I personally think a “stretch 5” is the long term for next to Zion. I guess I envisioned surrounding Zion with 4 shooters like SVG did with Dwight in Orlando when they made deep playoff runs.

I sure would give up a late first round pick from a team that is loaded with young talent (Den) for the next 5 years just to open up cap space next offseason for another max deal. Especially when we get a bulldog to put next to Zion for a season, and maybe more

I can’t speak for others, but I really like Hill. He shot 46% from 3, is a solid defender, and a good veteran presence. He’s also on a great contract. I think there were a probably some contending teams who would have given up a small asset for him if we wanted to trade him.
