I'll be surprised if he can buy minutes there. He's going to be behind Quickley, Schroeder, and now Bruce Brown. Unless they make another move, I'll be surprised if he sees much time this season. My guess is they probably see him as a developmental prospect and will re-sign him on a cheap short contract and see if they have something in him moving forward.

Because the recipient is taking a player they don't want to balance the dollars out. I'm sure there are several teams willing to dump a guy with that salary, but the Pels throw in a 2nd, so the pels get to do the dump.

Its speculation but if you were going to make a bigger move, you'd likely use someone like Kira as an aggregator.
But this deal doesn't preclude us from doing other deals that come along.
My guess is they aren't necessarily planning anything but you never know what will happen

ill take that 14th spot and only need Vet min. Will practice hard, have no aspirations to play in a real game. Will be a good locker room guy.
