You're not getting an 11 for Trey. No one will trade a top 15 pick for a backup player.

You can trade Trey for a late first maybe and Herb for a late first maybe. Then, if you can pull that off maybe you can turn to late 1sts into a middle 1st.

Which is fine. We aren't desperate to move them. They need to keep the asking price for those guy high.

Potential Deals:

Trey to Hawks for Kuminga, 8, Rights to Mil / NOP swap + Future Pick swap (maybe 29 or 30) or 1-2 2nds

Herb to GSW for Moses / 11 (maybe a 2nd)

Murray could go a couple of places though would not be shocked if he is held onto until the Trade Deadline to let his value improve:
Minny into the TE created + Beringer / 2nd
Pistons for LeVert / Stewart + ?
Rockets for FVV / Capela (or Shep) + Picks

Zion ... maybe someone like Portland or SAC or BKN or CHA would take a chance? Likely a bad contract + picks?

I'd be surprised if nothing happens. Alot of people would be fed up if we run it back and you can't openly shop your players for several seasons while expecting a stable locker room.

They should be desperate. 47-117 the last two seasons, sweeping changes need to be made. I'm not advocating to move them just to move them, but the draft isn't waiting for you. You have sought after players on your roster, a reset needs to happen, if you can't come to some sort of agreement today then you're not being realistic with what you're asking, and we will be stuck in this cycle.

No thanks. I'm good with moving them but there's no way I'm okay with getting less than ideal value for them.

If they go into a rebuild, you're not winning many games anyways. As long as Fears and Queen is getting developed, I'll sit and wait for an ideal package.

Does not compute.... We should be serious about making the move but not desperate to take a bad package. You have from now until halfway through the season before the trade deadline.

If we get offered #8 for Trey and/ or #11 for Herb then it gets done. But I doubt we trade them without those picks attached.

Maybe Herb but you keep Trey > 3 late 1sts.

Those are actually the best case scenarios for me. I don’t necessarily agree with trading Trey and not Zion. But I would be okay with these.

That is my point. There are enough suiters interested that if you can't come sort of agreement that's ideal for both sides, you're likely asking for too much, specifically on Trey.

Frankly anyone offers me a 1st for Herb I'm jumping all over it

He's a good player, but he's not as good as this board tends to think he is

Trey I understand wanting a good return

See my note above. There is likely enough interest in Trey that there is an ideal offer on the table. A lottery pick in this class is considerably more valuable than one in next years draft. We already have confirmation that something like #8 is on the table, but are the two sides realistic in what they're asking for aside from that, specifically the Pelicans side being they hold the coveted trade piece.

Hawks: #8/ '28 1st/ Risacher

GSW: #11/ '28 1st/ '32 1st

Which one would y'all rather for Trey if these are the options?

Depends on what else is involved player wise.

Add Okongwu Kispert to Hawks trade and let them keep Rischaer and give me that one

If the Warriors trade includes Moody and Podz then that one maybe more enticing

Don't follow much NBA? Not a team out there views Trey as a backup.

At #5 you'd be praying that Caleb Wilson is available (he won't be), if not I guess it would be Wagler
