That wasnt' a trade made on draft night (3 days before). It's not like he traded down knowing he'd get Trey. The trade was completely centered around unloading Adams & Bledsoe and bringing in JV.

It just doesn't make sense. And then the article above saying if we don't pick him at #7 he slides to #17 screams "this is the guy we want to trade up for" and not "we want him at #7".

I think there's definitely some truth to the fact that we were hoping Trey was the pick after the trade down. Him and Kispert were very similar guys with high 3pt potential.

If hoping we get Tre at 7, then trade up from #23 into the #16-18 range to get Queen.
That would be a great draft for us, assuming we dont give up much else in the trade.

I got inside info from someone that’s related to someone in the saints building and called the saints first two picks on the Saints board.
Not sure if he has connections on the Pels side, but he just told me Queen will be the pick.

That was a different person I was taking to during the draft, he was wrong. This person was a couple days before the draft.

Queen is a good player no doubt, but idk. I’d probably rather the center from Duke tbh

Same. Charlotte will regret passing on ace bailey.
I would take tre with 7 if he is there.
And I actually like queen. I don't know if I would take him at 7 but move back and take him, sure.
