This isn't exactly ground breaking, but Scoop has shown he has or at least had sources in the building after he moved to Bally's. I'm not sure what the Pels changing their broadcast does for Scoop's scoops.

Doesn't matter. Giannis would likely have zero interest in playing here. Rumor is he really wants to go to San Antonio.

I’d rather that unprotected and pick swap come to fruition and we move Zion somewhere else.

I hope the bucks get draft capital and frick up royally, lol.

Milwaukee has way better options from teams like Utah, OKC if they want, Houston, and Brooklyn. If Milwaukee trade Giannis, they're rebuilding.

Of course Zion COULD be on the table for Giannis, but Giannis will not want to come here and we shouldn’t force him here.

The right move is jumping into a Giannis trade to get assets for those two Milwaukee picks

Not happening. He wants a big market. Miami or Houston have been mentioned. Welcome to being a small market team that ranks last everything.

I don’t think we get a Zion for Giannis swap. I do think we are prime candidates for facilitators, and if we don’t give them their picks back they probably don’t look for a reset lowering the value of those picks. Meaning we probably want to be facilitating a Giannis trade.

Returning the 2026 swap is reasonable for the right pieces.

That 2027 pick is a bitch because we traded one of them to Atlanta, meaning we don’t have our own pick unless both us and Milwaukee are top four if we trade it.

If we trade the 2027 pick, I want something massive in return such as a young prospect we really need.

Im not facilitating jack shite that doesnt have a star level player being sent our way.

That pick swap is legit a top 3 pick next year

No stars are ever going to want to play here. Chris Paul, AD, and Zion show what happens they eventually leave.

We have to accept we’re a developmental franchise while we’re here. But eventually the lure of Seattle will be too much for the Pels to remain.

I ain't accepting shite in regards to Zion. I really wish people would stop putting Zion in the same category as AD and Chris. Zion did this to himself. It wasn't really a talent issue like the others.

Right. Giannis would never come here. No point in even discussing it.

Pels need to trade players for early picks and hope they get lucky. Then you add some vets once those players start to gel

I wouldn't be so sure. Without their own picks they have no incentive to tank. They will be looking for a completely different type of return then. They may not be a contender after that kind of trade, but they can probably make a run at the Playin in the East.

Exactly, if they’re not getting their own picks back they’re going to look for veteran players that keep them in playoff contention and we end up with picks in the 10-20 range. The only way they’ll tank is if they get their own picks back, which is why we should jump in with them and take a couple young good players back, or a star like Ja

The point is more about Giannis leaving the bucs and how that impacts our picks in those years. As far as Zion is concerned, I’m ready for him to be someone else’s “but next year” pipe dream. He’s fool’s gold

If the Bucks want their picks back, they just have to give us something in return. If they trade Giannis, they could reroute a portion to us in exchange. Let's say something like..

Bucks- Zion, JSJ, picks back, 2026 IND 1st

Houston- Giannis

Pelicans- Sengun, Sheppard

Don't fight it, just let me dream..

And if they don’t trade with us to get their picks back, that rebuild will take a really long time.

Our best bet is to help facilitate a move with Zion to Milwaukee, giannis to another team, and acquiring more and more assets to offset the move (if we're moving z)

I forgot to include some Houston picks to the Bucks. Let's say their pick this year and a future 1st.

So that is Zion, JSJ, 4 1sts and a swap to the Bucks for Giannis. I think that is about the right value.

We would be giving up Zion, 2 1sts and a swap for Sengun and Sheppard. Might be an overpay, considering how you value Zion. But I think it would get the job done. We still have our pick this year and all of our future selections. We wouldn't have to reset/rebuild and would be ready to win now.

So here’s the under reported side of things……..

Bucks GM John Horst who just signed a multi year extension was a long time protege under Joe Dumars. Joe has a TON of connections to the Bucks, including being somewhat of a mentor at times with Giannis. Yes, I think this is more of a possibility than people realize.

Giannis has two years left on his deal plus a player option. He could always be retraded in a year if the Pels can’t put a team around him.

The real question is, who else can the Pels get to try and convince Giannis to stay? And how much money are they willing to spend? Could Chris Paul or Brook Lopez be brought in to fill a gap if Giannis is on the roster? Could you package CJ and picks for someone like Bam, and would that be worth it or enough?

Giannis is Zion with size, defense, and plays 70+ games. Everything changes if this team just takes a chance.

Plus, Dumars is very much about the person. Just as much as basketball. I believe Zion is out no matter what.
