So when I come across a post saying Jabari blows, when I know that’s not true, I’m going to push back on that.

I never said Jabari blows. This is what I mean by a biased fans take. Im just not as high on him as others. I guess I’ll hop on rockets forums and respond to anyone who says Trey blows as well lol

Lol I dont but ok. The guy was picked third overall and basically looks like a solid role player. I get hes young but there are guys drafted after him that have tons more potential.
hey I hope the rocket organization feels the same way. If Bi/Zion doesn’t work, id gladly trade one of them for Him, amen, etc. doubt we could get Sengun now

If we have to trade BI and/or Zion for Jabari/Amen, thats a loss. Both of those guys while good players are definitely not franchise guys. I like Sengun, hes a good player, but lets wait a whole season of play at least without making him some untouchable player or the next Jokic.

Everybody on this board knows why we struggled last few seasons. Youre acting like its not obvious. Youre acting like its something the team did wrong. Simple fact is if Zion was healthy the past few years we would have been at least top 6 in the West. We would have finished top 4 with him fully healthy last season. We are borderline top 4 this season.

that dawg don’t hunt bubba. Coulda woulda shoulda whataboutisms doesnt mean shite. Everything is earned, we have no stake to any of that BS you just vomitted up

I'd bet he has considerably more trade value than anyone on our team.

Thats kind of hard to quantify especially in regards to each team and what they’re looking for. Hes had a great 20 plus games this season but to say his trade value is already considerably higher than any guy we have- thats a stretch.

I mean he scored 37 a career high against us but JV was in foul trouble and Willie kept throwing our 4th string center at him. Im just saying- sometimes our frustration makes us live in the moment.

Lol if you think a guy trey murphys size that is shooting 43% from 3 with volume wouldn't be valued like sengeun.

Shel you are slowly but surely starting to sound like I took over your TD and turned it into my personal 3PieceSpicy Burner account on here with your more recent Zion and Sengun takes/awakenings.

Sengn would have more value, I'm fairly certain of that.

He's 21 years old averaging 20/9/5. Trey Murphy was attached to the bench and being sent down to the G League at 21 years old.

It's not a knock on Trey Murphy, he just doesn't have the value of a Sengun right now, and I doubt it's very close.

Trey's ceiling isn't as a #1 on a playoff team. Sengun's definitely is.

Sengun is a stud. You've errored along the way by constantly comping him to Jokic and saying his ceiling is Jokic. If you left Jokic out of it, and just talked Sengun up separately, it would have served you better.

But yes, Sengun is a future #1 on a team. How good that team can be, we'll see. But he's showing at 21 years old that he is going to very soon be a legit #1 option on a solid team.

Agree to disagree. I think murphys numbers would be even better rn if he started the season healthy and got consistent minutes (WILLIE!) and a 3 is worth more than a 2. Trey is the finisher of an offensive set, isn't asked to playmake, and they both do different things very very well. Sengeun being younger is maybe the only thing I'd say is the tipping point.

The Pels have a gem in Trey.

Long, super athletic, elite shooter, and can handle the ball. The guy is capable of switching on defense.

I like Brandon Ingram, but I feel unless he can play more off ball that we should move him and get another shooting PF (Lauri?).

Zion can play off ball, but he has incredible gravity on offense. It is either his ridiculous driving skills or his weight. We really can’t afford to not lean heavy on point Zion. We should be focusing on players to surround him. Trey is about the perfect player.

Trey’s dribbling leaves a lot to be desired
