Carlisle and the Bucks GM worked together in Detroit many moons ago...

Rick is taking a sabbatical more than likely.

His statement doesn't make it appear that way. Says he's excited about his next coaching chapter.

No he flat out said in his statement he is coaching again.

I'd love to have Carlisle. But I don't think Griffin is going to hire a 60+, old school, disciplinarian coach after the SVG debacle.

Carlisle will likely go to the Bucks I think.

We will hire someone like Charles Lee or Chauncey Billups.

If that’s the case Dallas gets some compensation.

I imagine 2 first rounders is the starting point.

No. He left. Cuban let him go. Its a mutual parting of ways.

I think it's more likely you could get Rick to MIL, which would take Lee out of consideration there. Which ultimately is good for us.

Yeah that is my thought right now. I'd like to have a coach of his caliber, but I doubt he is considering us and I doubt that Griffin wants that type of HC again

It’s gonna be tough to get him with Portland and Boston having open slots. Even the Bucks potentially having an opening. But gotta try

The way I see it, assuming Dallas promotes within, is it increases our pool of coaches to choose from since Carlise will be filling a presumably more desirable franchise with a head coaching vacancy this year. So that's one less team to compete with for the rest of the candidates

Yeah i'd put Boston up there for Carlisle too. His roots there go all the way back to the 80s.

Also, I'd be shitting on any and everybody if I ran the Atlanta Hawks social media accounts.

Definitely. Would be awesome for the Pels if Dallas fills their spot with Jason Kidd. I think Jamahl Mosley gets the job though.

When you win a title for a city, you get that kind of treatment. We should definitely pursue the opportunity to get a championship coach. Carlisle would give us real credibility.

Doncic is taking hostage Dallas Mevericks...Carlisle fired cause Doncic disliked Carlisle's coaching.

Luka has already Harden's playstyle and he also has full powers.
