I'm impressed with Ingram's physique, definitely looks like his upper body got bigger so hopefully that translates into something positive on the court

Zion practiced but not sure if they kept him out of 5 on 5

this 8/9 scheme makes the 8/9 teams play back to back to back while lebron relaxes.
yeah man frick lebron and the lakers and their #1 seed in the toughest conference. They should get no reward for that and should have to mix it up with all the other teams that they repeatedly beat down the whole regular season.
because those 60 games they already played never happened due to COVID

Yeah, when the bubble system was first announced, my thought was "Oh, we'll just go with a short rotation, like a normal playoffs, probably just the starters and Hart, Redick, and Melli.
Then I realized the meat grinder that we're going to have to go through, and now I think that we'll probably see 10 in the regular rotation and a real eagerness to get the other guys on as much as possible in anything remotely resembling a blowout.
I think that either Frank or NAW will get regular minutes, E'Twaun could get regular minutes, and either Hayes or Kenrich will get regular minutes.
It's just my opinion, but if our only goal is to make the playoffs, then yeah, maybe you push an 8-man rotation to get there. If your goal is to make it to the playoffs in condition to be competitive, then you keep guys fresh.
And that's before we consider the fact that these guys have been off for a while, and the injury potential goes up the more minutes they play.

I’m okay with this...

the usual reward is playing 8 seed, not handicapping 8 seed by making them play 3 back to back to back, which never happened before in the history of nba.
or isnt it to be 4 in a row?
so unreasonable.

There is no travel so I expect the players should be able to better handle the schedule.

The reward is that more than 1 team has a chance for the 8 seed. It has nothing to do with the first few seeds at all. They all play so other teams can stay fresh and put more games on TV. Since when has an 8 seed had any "advantage" on a 1 or 2 seed going into the playoffs before that would make this so "unreasonable"?

We’ll have the youngest team in the playoffs out west. Young legs are an advantage with these back to backs. I think this “grind” favors us.

The seeding games will conclude on Aug. 14. If a play-in is required to determine the eighth playoff seed in either conference, it will take place on Aug. 15-16. The first round of the 2020 NBA Playoffs will begin on Aug. 17.
so 4 games in 4 days.
that is unreasonable.
postpone lakers game two days.
make up the two days by back to back for games 4/5. and then 6/7.

I'm getting more optimistic about the Clippers game, even without Zion. The Clips aren't going to be playing their stars for long minutes.

So uhhhhhhhhh Lou Will may be out for awhile.
While he DID leave for a funeral (excused)...
He may have also attended a party at a club and there are pictures. He's wearing the freaking mask given to him at the disney hotel, and is tagged in the photo.
I mean...

Does that really matter in terms of as long as he's gettin and passing daily tests, he's still good to go, right?
Or are there other, more detailed rules about social distancing or whatever while outside the Bubble?

Woj tweet:
"Indiana's Domantas Sabonis has a signficant foot injury and will leave the Orlando bubble to seek treatment from a specialist, sources tell ESPN."
