Gold lettering looks cool on navy on those practice jerseys. Hell those practice jerseys are better than the game navy’s

Bill Simmons had an idea that they should auction off 25-50 fan all access passes for the bubble for like $5M each, with half the money going to COVID research.

no one is paying $5M to watch practices, scrimmages and the 8 games and if there is a 8/9 playin.

no one. no less 25 to 50.

everyone can see the 8 games and playin 8/9 for free.

Jaxson got some new tats during the break: LINK

Doesn't really look like he did a lot of lifting, though.

if he couldn't put on 5lbs during that break, we're gonna have issues with him going forward

I don't know if it's the atmosphere or something else, but I love the fact that all of these guys in these post game interviews just have this intense look about them. Even guys like Jax and NAW who are usually goofing around seem very serious and intense. I'm hoping it translates on the court.

Also Hustle was getting buckets in practice today. Looking good. Hoping his back is healed. I think that was really messing with his shot.

That's an interesting thought. He was shooting well at the beginning of the season, and then he couldn't buy a bucket, and then he went out with his back. If his back was hurting, that would definitely explain why his shots weren't falling.

If Kenrich can hit 3s at the rate he did early in the season, then he may earn some playing time.

Nice video of Zo with the inbounds to Zion then a pretty effortless dunk. Zion definitely has more bounce imo.

Stark difference compared to a guy like Lavar.

Say what you want about Lavar, but he cares for his kids. A lot of people don't have that. He may be a character and ridiculous, but it also pushed that family to celebrity status.

I wish everyone had his hustle, but he's not playing one lick of a minute unless someone goes down.

It's going to be interesting to see how this goes. For example, if we have a two-game lead on the Blazers with only one game left, we'll just play all our backups that day -- give the starters the day off, because the play-in games are back-to-backs starting the day after the 8th regular game.

We're facing a schedule of playing 8 games in 16 days, immediately playing back-to-backs to beat Memphis and make the playoffs, and then immediately going to playing every other day again. It's brutal.

So, I think that Gentry is going to be very quick to put in subs in the 3rd or 4th quarter of any game that looks like it's not going to be close, whether we are ahead or behind.

tldr: our subs are going to be very important to try to keep our starters fresh. If we get up 15 in the 4th, you're going to see Jah, Kenny, and Frank on the floor.

There’s a video on the pels app with gentry micd up during practice and Zion is there. It’s dated 14 July but I don’t know if it’s actually from today or not.

its so unfair. it helps lakers.

nba needs to give two days off after the 8 reg and then two more after seed is set.
its b.s
lakers get days of rest while the 8/9 teams go back to back.

boo.

i hate that they couldnt do the 20 team, 4 world cup groups 5 levels.
no one has an advantage

this 8/9 scheme makes the 8/9 teams play back to back to back while lebron relaxes.
