Lopez:

quote:

Zion Williamson says he thinks there will be parts of his game that we haven't seen before when the league restarts. Adds that working with his stepdad felt like he was 5 years old again, working on fundamentals.

Alvin Gentry credits Zion Williamson's stepfather Lee Anderson for working with Zion during the quarantine period. Said he worked on his shooting and Gentry saw some improvement there.

Zion said he thought the energy today at practice was very good.

Great to see that his Dad is able to evaluate his flaws based on the film from the season and have the insight and ability to work with him on his flaws during his off time. Tremendously grounded family who will help elevate his game. Stark difference compared to a guy like Lavar.

Zion has incredible family support. His mom and step dad seem like genuinely good people.

Bill Simmons had an idea that they should auction off 25-50 fan all access passes for the bubble for like $5M each, with half the money going to COVID research.

We could've started a GoFundMe to get one of the sons there

Zion not wearing a knee brace has to be a great sign.

I mean I respect his relationship with his dad but I rather have assistant coaches that actually do this stuff for a living.

You’d rather that, huh? Do you remember there was this quarantine thing going on? Assistant coaches weren’t living at Zion’s house, despite your preference.

I mean, so would I, but the NBA didn't allow coaches to do that, so it wasn't an option.

Jaxson got some new tats during the break: LINK

Doesn't really look like he did a lot of lifting, though.
