So in Texas will my only option be League Pass?

Seems like it. I’ve been so spoiled that my parents cable let me watch all the pelicans games from California for years. Guess it’s league pass….

I often record the games and watch them when I get home from the gym. In New Orleans, Bounce is not on my DIRECTV service so I cannot record them. My only option is watching live OTA. Hopefully they are working with DTV to get a regional Bounce signal.

Also, for the question about Lafayette, is the Lake Charles station too far to get?
I’m not really sure, I couldn’t tell you the last time I tried to watch OTA tv.
ETA: I seem to recall maybe catching the NBC station out of Lake Charles years ago, but I’m pretty sure Lafayette has its own NBC affiliate now, which means I wouldn’t be able to watch via YouTube TV, but I guess I could potentially catch it via an antenna.

Nice. I ditched cable many years ago so I really don’t follow Pels much. Will certainly check out games via antenna.

No, you can not watch on YouTube tv in Br, and no, you can not get via antenna in most of BR. And that’s the same in many other areas as well. It’s absolutely absurd the Pelicans can not figure out how to broadcast their games in a manner their local fans can see it.

I think this is correct. However, 2 of the Gray games were shown in Lafayette last season (DirectTV Stream). The others were not. I have Balleys so now I have to adjust. frick.

This past weekend, Diamond Sports re-engaged with the Pelicans and offered them a new deal that was more lucrative than anything they had previously been presented. The Pelicans on Monday notified many of the major players involved that they were still choosing Gray as their broadcast partner despite Diamond's offer being 20% higher.
Wow. I can't believe they declined more money. So happy to see it though.
This is a huge step in the right direction.

I live in BR.
I have a Mohu leaf in a window that doesn’t catch the ota channel.
My better antenna in the attic will catch it, but it’s not in HD, and it gets staticky a lot.
I would just go to streameast and AirPlay it to the tv, that’s how shitty the ota option was for me in BR, someone who’s been using an OTA antenna for 9 years

I watched these games on cable last year in Lafayette, mostly on Bounce. My son hated it because none were in HD. "Dad is this how it was like to watch Michael Jordan in the 90's? Everything is fuzzy!" I guess I am going to have to shell out the $15 for streaming to get HD.
Also, I have never done the streaming. Can you start a game from the beginning after it has started? I always watch on DVR as both of my kids play basketball so we are in the gym almost every night.

I live in BR as well and have been subscribing to Bally's. I'll do whatever streaming option they put out if I can't get it on YoutubeTV.
Still, this will increase viewership substantially.

I’m in BR, and the “Grey” broadcasts were available on an alternate WAFB channel via REV. I was able to watch them with our business REV subscription at my restaurant….although I’m not sure if they were available via HULU Live at my house.

Is this map showing the new broadcast channels for games? I’m in Biloxi, will WLOX be having the games live here? TIA.

Will it, though? It's sounding like it will be more difficult than before for me to watch a game.

"Available." The picture quality is atrocious, though.

In market streamers can watch via YouTube tv etc.
Could also watch over HD antenna right?
I'm in Gonzales and was never able to find a way to watch. Wasn't able to stream and wasn't able to pick up over antenna. I hope this issue is fixed.

This move will improve the Pelicans' accessibility and allow the team to reach a significantly larger TV audience. The seven games the Pelicans showed on WVUE-TV Fox 8 last season and other major over-the-air stations drew an average of 46,057 TV households — a 260% increase from the 12,807 TV households the team averaged on Diamond-owned Bally Sports, according to Nielsen data.
