Maybe Chad would know?

I don’t think there is a mad rush for these tickets. Pelicans radio announcer made a comment about counting the people last night. Looks like someone paid Lane Kiffin to sit courtside .
No Press Conference after trade deadline.

Was waiting to hear “State of the Pelicans” presser after the trade deadline. Guess we are not getting one. I wonder if Chad will defend this?

They tried that already. Could not get a bag of chips.

Why ? Because Cuban is a truther? Also been reported Dumont might move team to Vegas .

Do we still have to send a representative? Who does the honors ? Dumars?

They should lock the players out during the next cba until they get rid of guaranteed contracts. That would solve alot of issues.
No it would not. They would just move on to different leagues .

here lies the problem. it is far far far from just a pelicans problem. the nba has become a player's league. the league needs to take back the power, control, and the leverage back away from the players. Stars only want to play for a handful of organizations. These players get guaranteed contracts to fricking walk around to pout and mope and behave like little bitches. Its a disease plaguing the league.
And what about GM’s not playing their top players?

Some points here. Sounds like he was ready to move on

In hindsight, the decision to trade Ingram was the right one. The lack of continuity between Ingram and Williamson, who also faced significant injury hurdles, prevented the duo from ever reaching their projected ceiling as a powerhouse Western Conference tandem. The continued emergence of Trey Murphy III’s game would ultimately be stymied by Ingram’s usual ball-dominance and questionable shot selection.
quote:
He continued, “We had veteran leadership, and then we added Dejounte Murray, who brought that Spurs championship DNA. I thought we had a real chance, but sometimes you need luck. You need to be healthy and have time to build cohesiveness, and the injuries just didn’t give us that chance.” The addition of Murray before Ingram’s final year in New Orleans was one the franchise hoped would get them over the top. Before the 2024-2025 season, the Pelicans had made the playoffs two out of three years, but were bounced in the first round both times. Murray’s addition was seen as a missing piece, adding a dynamic playmaker alongside Ingram, Williamson, and CJ McCollum. To Ingram’s point about the injuries, the foursome did not play a single game together during the regular season. Murray fractured his hand during opening night in a game that Williamson also missed. Ingram suffered an ankle sprain in early December, which was his last game played as a member of the Pelicans

Oh okay. Funny everyone gets giddy over beating a Kings team tanking and HAS THEIR LOTTERY PICK.

I swear you’re an idiot. “She’s rich now.” So why would she want more money? She loves the saints and pelicans, always go to their games and always talk how important they are to the city. That’s the reason she wants to own the teams. Why would she sell when she doesn’t have to?
She loves horses and car dealerships too. Don't forget to add that to the tier.

Being here in the city that raised me is a dope feeing and putting a Knicks jersey on is pretty surreal for me. Just trying to stay in the moment, you know what I’m saying?” Alvarado has a relationship with Josh Hart, who was one of his veterans during his rookie year with the Pelicans. He’s competed against a number of current Knicks players when they were on different teams over the course of their careers, as well. “Everybody’s so dope. Everybody welcomed me with open arms. I’m excited,” he said. “I watched them play a lot. Some of the guys I played with on different teams. I played against the Knicks. So it’s a dope feeling. Everybody’s excited. Im excited and I can’t wait to go play with them.”

Where is this pedophile support shite come from? It’s like you dumb fricks don’t know how to read what really happened and go off of misinformation. She never paid for a settlement and helped the archdiocese release the list of names. She donates to the church, yes. But she also donated to the communities and schools around the state. It’s crazy how you dumbasses talk shite about her. Gayle Benson is an amazing lady but the people around her has failed her honestly. She’s building a new arena, a health complex and trying. It’s Dennis Lauscha that everyone should dislike. You will never hear Gayle is too cheap and won’t spend compared to other owners . She’s admitted to pay the luxury tax if we were contenders also. Which we aren’t. She’s too kind for her own good.
Emails detail Saints' assistance to New Orleans Archdiocese in sexual abuse scandal
So why won’t she fire them? Why hide the emails??
quote:
The records, which the Saints and church had long sought to keep out of public view, reveal team executives played a more extensive role than previously known in a public relations campaign to mitigate fallout from the clergy sexual abuse crisis. The emails shed new light on the Saints' foray into a fraught topic far from the gridiron, a behind-the-scenes effort driven by the team's devoutly Catholic owner who has long enjoyed a close relationship with the city's embattled archbishop.
quote:
Among the key moments, as revealed in the Saints' own emails: • Saints executives were so involved in the church's damage control that a team spokesman briefed his boss on a 2018 call with the city's top prosecutor hours before the church released a list of clergymen accused of abuse. The call, the spokesman said, "allowed us to take certain people off" the list. • Team officials were among the first people outside the church to view that list, a carefully curated, yet undercounted roster of suspected pedophiles. The disclosure of those names invited civil claims against the church and drew attention from federal and state law enforcement. • The team's president, Dennis Lauscha, drafted more than a dozen questions that Archbishop Gregory Aymond should be prepared to answer as he faced reporters. • The Saints' senior vice president of communications, Greg Bensel, provided fly-on-the-wall updates to Lauscha about local media interviews, suggesting church and team leaders were all on the same team. "He is doing well," Bensel wrote as the archbishop told reporters the church was committed to addressing the crisis. "That is our message," Bensel added, "that we will not stop here today." The emails obtained by AP sharply undercut assurances the Saints gave fans about the public relations guidance five years ago when they asserted they had provided only "minimal" assistance to the church. The team went to court to keep its internal emails secret
Did not learn our lesson with Eric Gordon .
Social media person thought this would shut us up or something? Make people believe nothing is wrong? This is Baron Davis 2.0 .
