someone like a Myles Turner could certainly be available

I'm not sure why Turner is constantly brought up. We have talked about him, it seems like, for the last 3 years. Indiana has made him available and no team has bit.

who is his shooting instructor?

offense doesn't just develop

since its the same few guys who post I will segué to the prediction for next season. when Vegas does the o/u they will have benefit of summer league so no one should mock bad early guesses but I started wondering what the pels o/u will be. part of it is guessing development.
if herb learns a couple shooting moves.
if Dyson ditto.
do pels get another big who can defend.
last year the o u was 44.5 for pels. guess after summer league.

for the record, my TDGM is never taking a guy who can't fricking shoot.
I do love herb... 2nd round was ok. not the 8th pick or whatever Daniels was.

He hasn’t been traded because he hasn’t truly been available. In fact they extended him, loading him up with money this past season. But like I said, if they struggle and two years remaining becomes 1.5, that could change.

I've been calling for Eubanks since early last year. He'd be a really good fit here for cheap. His shooting stroke even looks pretty good, too.

Kelly Olynyk looks like he will be out on the Jazz after the John Collins trade, either because they don’t pick up his option or via trade. He’s getting older but still played well last year and would provide a stretch 4/5 backup with legit length without blowing the budget.

Olynyk would be a perfect acquisition for us...if the cost is low. The number matching might be an issue.

If we can somehow get BOTH Collins and Allen, that is the route I'd take and then sign someone like Aaron Holiday to a vet min deal to round out the guard rotation

Kawhi Leonard was drafted solely for his defense. Seemed to work out OK for the Spurs

Olynyk on a reasonable deal is a light years better option than Allen on 3/60. It’s like this board learned nothing when we were dumping money into someone who can’t finish games. (Allen Citation: Knicks Series.)

And it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever.

Only way would be via or after a Zion trade, and that’s not happening.

Doesn't make any sense for us.

Well no. Would still be neat if not for being financially irresponsible though

Siakam says he won’t resign anywhere he is traded, which lowers his value.

Still won’t lower it enough for us to get him without a multi-team trade.

Doesn’t really make sense to me but I’d give up a lot for Garland. If we could somehow use something like Dyson, Herb, and JV + picks to get Garland and Allen that would be incredible. Obviously a pipe dream but still

Amico is supposedly really bad with rumors. Think this idea already got shot down.

Hence why the silence from the Pels during the Zion talk was so deafening. Someone tried to tell me that "No team on earth responds to trade chatter" during the Scoot situation.
