The Celtics, Clippers, Pelicans and Timberwolves have reached out to Portland to discuss a Damian Lillard trade, per @ChrisBHaynes “The Clippers, the Timberwolves, Pelicans, Boston Celtics, those are the team off the top of my head, I’m pretty sure there were more, those were the teams that I know called out to reach out to see what it would take (to land Lillard).”

I'm going to say the same thing I said about Scoot. Griff loves to go big game hunting, but he never bags anything.

Whatever else you want to say about him, the man is not lazy. He will always, always do his due diligence.

Wont be surprised if he was seeing if he could be included in a multi team deal.

Since I'm of the belief that Zion isn't going anywhere...

BI, Dyson, Kira, 4 picks for Dame

I wouldn’t do BI for Dame. I would even have to think about Zion, and I desperately want to move him.

FTR I'd much rather switch Zion in the scenario above but could see a situation where BI says he won't extend and they pull the trigger

This is the kind of trade I would expect a Portland homer to come up with.

I'm guessing the ratio of making a call to making a trade is pretty low, this is pretty standard

And also given our team already has its top 2 dudes, CJ was the big trade.

The obvious 1st offer would have to be McCollum, Daniels, one of Murphy/Jones and 7 picks/swaps.

I think the Blazers would have to consider that and would rival most packages..

This is coming from Portland.

The Pels have the most tradable assets. They will be included in every rumor to drive up prices.

Don’t think we get him but I would express an interest if only to give Portland some negotiating strength.

Dame getting traded is acceptable. Him demanding to be sent to Miami for peanuts, less so.

"We're looking to offload JV, Kira, GT, if you need salary to get rid of Dame you know I'm a slut for 2nds"

We aren't going to send McCollum back to Portland.

I'd consider including Zion in the deal, depending on what else it would take. It's a no-go with BI.

Depends on what they are looking for.

If they want Daniels, Trey, and a bunch of picks and swaps, CJ goes for salary matching purposes since he is the biggest contract we can afford to swap for Dame’s $45m deal.

They won’t necessarily want him back but no one has the cap room to absorb Dame without sending out at least $40m in contracts in return.

If they don’t want CJ a third team could be worked in.

I think this is all moot to drive the price up though. If we are seriously involved we need to figure out a Jonas for Nurkic swap too
