For what?

It would be must see TV on the Bill Simmons podcast if Poole was involved.

But why? I can only imagine how many unprotected firsts Joe would trade.

Most definitely would be stupidity, but imagine:

Murphy (27mil)
Poole (34mil)
2028 1st
2029 swap
2030 1st

for Jaylen Brown (57mil)& filler
Would you do that knowing he's got 3 more years in his prime?

PG: Murray/Fears
SG: Brown/Hawkins
SF: Jones/Bey
PF: Williamson/Queen
C: Missi/Matkovic

This is why we’re listed in the sweepstakes, not because Brown wants to be here and his agent is telling us to get this done.

We’re listed because Vegas knows the stupidity of Dumars has the Celtics interested in the fleece.

Jaylen Brown is an exponentially better basketball player than Trey Murphy

Would really like this team if we find a way to move Zion for Brown.
Murray/Jaylen/Trey/Herb is an ideal lineup with big who wants to defend, rebound and set picks.

I have a very hard time believing he would be remotely happy about being here.

But why?

Because Simmons wants Trey murphy so he made a trade to send Brown to the Pels for him and that's all it takes for these betting sites to set their lines.

brown is a different kind of cat…the complete opposite of a moron like Zion. He’s smart, disciplined, engaged in serious activities outside basketball and a well rounded individual. He is exactly the kind of person this teams needs as a leader, and exactly the kind of player who can decide his own fate. I doubt seriously he would agree to any trade to a team like the pelicans.

he’s from Marietta so I would expect he would push for the hawks who just so happen to have a very enticing draft pick courtesy of our other moron

No thanks. He’s a very smart guy but he runs his mouth too much and he seems like a guy that could have some liking him and others hating him among the players.

a leader, you mean? No man we can’t have that…a serious basketball player who would not put up with pussified bullshite? Horrible idea

For saying he enjoyed the season? Calling out Stephen A Smith? Calling out bad officials?

Brown has a pretty bad contract.

Sucks that we could have had Brown for AD and Griff wanted the Lakers package instead. And have nothing to show for that trade now.

I don’t think Griff wanted the Lakers package. a-hole AD refused to agree to sign an extension with anyone but the Lakers

I was against that trade until I saw this potential lineup.

While Center would be weak I would imagine we would play relatively small and not utilize too many center minutes.

If healthy, that would be a really fun team to watch.
