With so many options supposedly on the table and this likely being the most pivotal summer in the Pelicans tenure in New Orleans, if your GM Griffin, make your moves and build a team that would compete for next year's playoffs and beyond!
Keeping or trading AD is in play, stretching Solo is in play, etc. I know someone's been giving this some thought for almost a week now!! What u got?

Trade AD and Solo to Lakers. Lakers send us Ingram, Kuzma, #4, and picks. Lakers send Lonzo to the Magic. Magic sends us Isaac.

Draft Zion and Garland or White #4

Move up with our two seconds + to get Grant Williams, or stay put to get Jontay Porter

Sign Reggie Bullock and Dewayne Dedmon to large one year deals. Bring back Elfrid.

Garland / Payton / Jackson
Jrue / Bullock
Ingram / Isaac / Kuzma
Isaac / Kuzma / Zion / G Williams
Zion / Dedmon / Isaac / Wood

Davis has a player option in 2020/2021 and him opting into that is the least likely scenario of all (unless severely injured)

Assuming Randle opts out:

Find trades to get Hill and Moore off the books.

Sign Kyrie Irving. Sign Davis to the richest contract extension in NBA history. Draft Zion.

Then go on to win "Not One, Not Two, Not Three, Not Four, Not Five, Not Six, Not Seven... Ayyy and when I say that I really believe it."

Kryie is a horrible fit with the current core. It'd rather run it back with Payton than that outcome

What do mean dude, Kyrie and AD are like best buds. He and Zion or both Dukies and I'm pretty sure Jrue would invite him to all the exclusive workouts. You're obviously over thinking this, hahaha.

I like most of your thoughts.

Pg: plan A is get Brogdon, plan B is Patrick Beverly or Collison. Solid defenders who can stretch the floor. Keep Elfrid as your second Pg if possible And in 2nd round you always take a gamble so either Carsen Edwards or tremont if carsen gone

SG: stay as is with jrue, frank Jackson. Etwaun traded to create cap space

SF: Plan A is, Danny Green, Ariza or Demarre Carroll would all be solid 3 and D guys. I’d rather Danny green though. Plan B is CJ miles, less of a defender but can stretch floor. Solo traded to clear cap space, Kentish Williams

PF: Draft Zion, retain Christian wood, Darius Miller

C: AD, jahlil, plan B if you miss out on Brogdon and have the money to sign a Pat Beverley, and Ariza, then I like Dwayne Desmond. Draft Tacko fall in the second round

Draft R.J. Barrett with the 3rd pick.

Sign J.J. Reddick to get a 3 pt threat/floor spacer.

Jrue/Frank
Reddick/Moore
Barrett/Kenny
Zion/Wood
Robinson/Jah

Brogdon shoots like 41% from 3 for his career. You have to respect 4 of those 5 starters from 3, that is all that team would need to be successful. We’re talking about the most ridiculous front court of unicorns the league has ever seen

1. Convince AD to opt-in for us to "prove it".
2. Shed Solo's contract by any means necessary.
3. Sign Bojan Bogdanovic, Danny Green, bring back Aminu
4. Re-sign Elfrid, pick up Jah's team option.

PG: Elfrid/Frank
SG: Jrue/Green/Moore
SF: Bogdanovic/Moore/Williams
PF: Zion/Aminu
C: Davis/Okafor

I'm torn between keeping AD and trading AD, so I'll do both..

Keep AD:
Draft Zion of course.

Randle opts out.

Hill is moved using a couple 2nds if possible, or send next years 1st top 5 protected. This should open up in the neighborhood of 25 million in cap space.

Sign Brogdon to a 4 year deal, should average in the neighborhood of 18 mil. Make it a S&T using Moore, which should have us around 15 million left over.

Sign Danny Green to a 2 year 10 mil deal.

Re-sign Payton to 2 years 8 mil.

Fill in the roster with vet mins.

Brogdon/Payton
Jrue/Frank
Green/Kenrich
Zion/Wood
AD/Okafor

2nd team doesnt offer much in the way of shooting, but they could be good enough to give a good amount of breathers to the 1st team.

Trade AD:

I'll give my 2 ideal trades.

AD to Boston with Cleveland involved:

Boston recieves:AD and Hill

Cleveland recieves: Hayward

NOP recieves: Tatum, Brown, JR Smith (waived), #14, #22, and Memphis pick

Still sign Brogdon to a deal using Moore as S&T, and I go after Brook Lopez also. Still re-sign Payton also.

I try to move #14 for a future 1st. With #22 draft a high upside guy for the GLeague team.

Brogdon/Payton
Jrue/Brown/Frank
Tatum/Brown
Zion/Kenrich
Lopez/Wood

2nd preferred trade:

AD to LA with Phoenix involved

LAL recieves: AD, Hill

Phoenix recieves: Ball

NOP recieves: Ingram, Hart, #4, #6 2020 pick swap, 21 unprotected 1st

I would still be keen on going after Brogdon here, because we would need his shooting. We also keep LOADS of cap space for other deals, or to take on a bad deal with a future asset.

Brogdon/Coby White
Jrue/Hart/Frank
Ingram/Kenrich
Zion/Doumbouya
Wood/Okafor

Depending on Ingram's injury, I'm kind of liking a potential Laker deal, depending on what we can flip Ball for
