Ousmane Dieng wowed the Pelicans in a private workout and is under serious consideration at No. 8, per @DraftExpress.

Well he wont go over Mathurin or Daniels according to intel Ive read, and Pels staff is split between Dieng and Sharpe if we stay at 8. That is the most likely choice we will have to make though saying Mathurin and Daniels should be gone already

Again hes 6’10 19 year old playing in a very physical league. I will trust my evaluations over two guys who get paid to be wrong 50% of the time. Yes Im biased because he’s the most intriguing prospect in the draft to me, just trying to have people not freak out if we do in fact take him

I don’t see Sharpe coming close to his as of now.

Kid seems like a shithead in what limited exposure he has had.

And what insider info do you have to determine that about Sharpe? Point to me the video, interview, article, etc.. that made you decide Sharpe is a shithead.

Speculating on a player because of what he's done on the court is one thing, speculating on his personal life and character, is another.

Dieng at 8 is a fireable offense imo no matter who is there.

I don't like him at all.

I don’t want another player drafted to this team ever that needs their shot “fixed”. frick that, I’m tired of it

Problem is you aren't likely to find that perfect player at 8.

If Dyson or Sochan were shooting 40% from three they would be top 5 picks.

But fixing shots is literally the one skill the Pels have in their bag above every other team and that gives us a unique advantage.

Daniels shot also looks like something that seems pretty fixable and only needs some slight adjustments to get more accuracy and stability.

If you get that one skill fixed you essentially have bigger Tyrese Haliburton or a perfect blend of Lonzo and Hart.
