Been said that. BI, especially, and Zion were not going anywhere this year.

I remember when we drafted Trey they said all he can do is spot up shoot. It's like a copy and paste of the same takes about Jordan

No use talking about playoffs if we can't shoot the 3 during the season

Newsflash drafting for ceiling has burnt us for years. Trey and Herb were fit and they are great selections.

Sons, even if it was the player you wanted, they most likely were getting scrub minutes this year at best.

I’m only annoyed because you have a consensus top 5 guy in Whitmore and an all’s round guy in bufkin in your lap.

Absolutely. The draft is such a crapshoot because these guys are so unfinished.

This team has shown they are bad at some things and good at others. I say let them lean into what they're good at. Maybe it's only hitting singles, but that's better than them whiffing on a big swing, which they have done every time it wasn't an obvious choice.

Consensus top 5 by who? The "experts"? Clearly there is something wrong there because the teams don't think he's top 5.
And pass all day on Bufkin.

Breaking: Lakers passed on Whitmore

I liked Bufkin. But I will say I couldn’t help but think Naw when I watched him. Which scared me a bit.

Yeah I think Bufkin is going to flash here and there and then disappear for large stretches. Very streaky, inconsistent nba level player.

This isn’t true. People were excited about the shooting but they were also excited about Trey’s length and defensive upside. Two things Hawkins lacks.
