I love the pick. This isn’t a streaky shooter. The guy has a repeatable, mechanically sound, buttery stroke from 3.

There are multiple players in the league that play solely because of that.
Antonio Daniels was on broadcasts last season saying I don't care if the guy doesn't know how to dribble. Just get a guy that can knock em down.

Dick is a much better defender lol. I mean they’re saying hes bad on tv. Like if people know your defense sucks in college thats a red flag.

I'm curious as to what the melt is about. It seems like it's about not taking a high upside guy with concerning injury issues. People point to Michael Porter Jr., he plays about as often as Ingram. A lot of the same people melting over not taking Whitmore are some of the same people that have been ready to trade one of our star players with injury issues because they can't handle the uncertainty from the injury issues.

No he isn't. He's a weak on ball defender. He makes up for it off ball and in help D. Very similar to Hawkins strengths. A lot of projecting and repeating going on here.
