Nice.
Clippers aren't winning much with just Blake and Deandre

You won't be in the tax if you send asik like I said. You shed 11m and get 11m back

Read what I said. You need to shed Asik's salary by next offseason or you go into the tax with Boogie's extension. Stretch or dump Asik's $14M left next season to avoid the tax. If you use a 1st for Lee and he has a downturn in his 30's, you don't have anything to use to dump the $25m you still owe him.

You mean other than putting another couple mil in the bank and getting a 2nd ring ?

Cleveland's in talks with Houston on a deal to move Iman Shumpert to Rockets, league sources tell ESPN.

Cavs in market to get draft pick & trade exception for Iman Shumpert, which would free $ to sign Kyle Korver and set up future deals.

I mean if lee becomes absolutely worthless you could always stretch him just like asik. Not sure why you're making this more complex than it is

And that's fine if you hadn't burned a 1st to do that. It makes no sense to trade a 1st for that contract. Just keep Asik and hopefully trade him next offseason or stretch him and use the first to get a good contract.

Because he's an athletic 2 way player who shoots 40% from 3? And asik has absolutely no value?

Teams will meet w/Otto Porter in D.C. starting tomorrow. Max sheet likely to follow early in week; Wizards would then have 48 hrs to match.

Nets, Kings among likeliest teams to aggressively court Porter. Wizards have indicated they’ll match any offer sheet up to/including max.

@wojespn
Sources: Suns out on Millsap pursuit, turning to use cap space to absorb $ dumps paired w/ assets. Open to moving vets, going all-in young.
Dell better have PHX on speed dial.

Time to go get Bledsoe and become a top 5 defense that lives at the line on offense.

What will it take to snag Bledsoe? I can't imagine much more than a single first. Look at the cost of Butler and George.
ETA: maybe Ajinca, Qpon, Toupane, and a top 3 protected 1st?

He's one of the best young SFs in the league. Good defender at worst average. Good offensive player who doesn't need the ball in his hands. Shoots the 3 ball very well. Could have an increased role as the #2 guy on a lot of other teams.
Him and Harrison barnes when he was in GS are near identical IMHO

Give them ajincia, QPon, asik, and multiple 2nd round picks and see what they say.

Doubt they'd go for that bag of shite
In my edit I threw out Ajinca, Qpon, Toupane, and a top 3 protected 1st. Maybe some cash to cover Qpon's salary. That would leave them with only adding Ajinca's 2 years 10 mil in salary, with Qpon and Toupane being negligible.

They say "get fricked".

The problem with this is a bad market usually causes teams to hold onto players rather than sell low. Unless Phoenix is determined to move Bledsoe now rather than later, you'll need to give them at least 2 1sts IMO. You might be able to substitute Diallo or Frank Jackson for a 1st if they like either or a 3rd team does, but I just don't see them giving up Bledsoe for just a 1st. Rubio went for Just a 1st and Bledsoe is arguably a tier above Rubio.

I'd love Bledsoe. I'd have no problem giving a first and Diallo or Jackson as long as they take on someone like Asik or Ajinca/qpon.
