The problem with this is a bad market usually causes teams to hold onto players rather than sell low. Unless Phoenix is determined to move Bledsoe now rather than later, you'll need to give them at least 2 1sts IMO. You might be able to substitute Diallo or Frank Jackson for a 1st if they like either or a 3rd team does, but I just don't see them giving up Bledsoe for just a 1st. Rubio went for Just a 1st and Bledsoe is arguably a tier above Rubio.
when on the court bledsoe > rubio
but bledsoe makes gordon look healthy

Like clock work every other season he's missed half the season, and this year is the other (injured) season. So there is certainly some concern there. But that's not how Phoenix will view him. If the point is to make them trade Bledsoe now rather than try and wait out a bad market, I think you have to give up 2 1sts or equivalent assets to make it happen.

Solid point. I think the counter argument is that he makes 14 mil per for the next 3 seasons, so risk is still relatively low vs the ceiling. Worst happens, we just go back to starting Jrue. Also, he will be asked to do a lot less, which should help his injuries.

He only has 2 years left.

I've been on the Bledsoe bandwagon for a few months now. Pairing him with Jrue seemed like the most realistic path to the best possible team.

Can Bledsoe and Jrue play together? And who could we possibly move to fit him under the cap?

Ajinca, Qpon and Toupane should be enough salary. Bledsoe would be the PG and you shift Jrue to SG.

I think Jrue is just as good at the 2 as he is at the 1. Bledsoe is a much better individual scorer than Jrue, which is what we need in the 4th quarter. Can't have AD and Cousins bring the ball up in the final 2 minutes of every game.

Thanks. You've got me all in on Bledsoe now

Asik, Diallo and 2018 first perhaps?

I really don't want to give up Diallo.

Dell should be blowing up PHX GM Ryan McDonough's phone like a father whose teenaged daughter isn't home before 11 PM

He's a decent defender, has averaged over 20ppg the last 2 years and gets to the line better than Tyreke did. Add him to AD/DC and the team will be in the penalty every quarter. You also have some interesting staggering options. Have Holiday/AD run a defensive focused Small Ball unit like last season when Cousins went out. Then when Cousins/Bledsoe come back in try to run a high powered offensive attack against bench defenders.

Give up on what? A career backup at best. Give me a break, what the he'll do yuou expect him to become? They could have Diallo and Jackson for all I care.

Is Collison a full MLE guy?
It's either MLE or S&T
