Gull was my guy. Sucks that he had to go. It's gonna be hard to replace him. TP rarely get beat writers right but they struck on him. Hopefully the next writer is no troll and actually cares about this team and provide quality work

Why do so many assume Denver will win 50 games and be better than the Pels?

They are young, talented and deep. Their 2nd unit alone could include Ike Thomas, Plumlee, and Trey Lyles, guys who would start on a lot of teams. Jamal Murray, Gary Harris and Jokic haven’t hit their ceilings yet. And they still have lotto tickets like Juancho and Malik Beasley who could show up

Also Paul milsap only played 38 G on a 46 win team last season. They will be one of the best offenses in the L and scary if it all comes together

I get that, but I still see them being one of the 5-10 worst defense in the league.

AD is far far superior to anyone on their team, including Jokic who I really like. Jrue would be the 2nd best player on the Nuggets.

They definitely have a deeper roster than the Pels but I’d take our 4 key guys over theirs.

Guys who can start on "A lot" of teams?

A lot means more than 10. If IT3 could start for one team, he would have had better offers than the minimum. Plumlee could only start for teams that completely give up on the center position, like the Lakers. And I can't even come up with two teams Lyles would definitely start for.

Accuracy with words.

Unless Millsap has a Jimmy Butler level impact I just don't see the young and improving players being enough to vault them from out of the playoffs into the top 4. I think the pecking order 3 and up is as unsettled as last year, to be determined by injuries and hot streaks.

Evil Jrue would be the best player on the Nuggets.

Evil Jrue is being super underrated this coming offseason. He looked like one of the best guards in basketball during the playoffs.

whoa that’s a message board guy move. Pick apart hyperbolic message board speak, well done

I should’ve went with the vague “can get minutes” on a lot of teams. My main point was they aren’t running out Dleague talent off the bench

Besides GS and probably HOU it's a complete clusterfrick

Those will probably be the 8 with Portland being a bit underrated

If it makes you feel better, I don't just do it on message boards. I do it in every aspect in my life. Language matters and people don't use it properly.

Thank you for clearing up what you meant to say. NOW your language is correct. Yes, they have multiple quality players that are not a net negative. That is correct. This allows the debate to move forward, with accuracy.

If he can show any type of real effort on defense, he can be a decent player for this team. He's just too talented offensively for a guy like Cheick to play ahead of him.

Im sure he's gonna come in to camp and beat up on our bigs. The defense can't break down with him out there though, and to me that has a lot to with his effort level.

Shved is more like a combo guard (6'6''). And is one of the best players in Europe. Every year there is much interest in him.

$4M is around his actual salary. He has a deal in Russia till 2020 with NBA outs.

He is a nice bet for smart teams. Even with his 29 (almost 30 years).

IMO he is seeking tax-payer MLE level money.

Personally I would risk for him.
