Agreed. Which is why I wouldn't completely rule it out. Who knows. Maybe he retires and becomes an apple farmer. Nothing's off limits.

I think Vucevic market wasn’t as great as people think. The Magic were 26th in pace of play last year and even slower when Vucevic was on the floor. The league is just moving away from that kind of play, and why he was never going to be a true target for us, even though some posters mentioned him as a wanted FA. When the Kings, who were universally thought to be the strongest contenders for him, backed off early, it crippled his market.

Hopefully this expands past him and into the other Centers though. That would be great for us, but I think this is says more about Vuc.

All smart agents should be floating LAL rumors for pure leverage reasons. They are the most desperate team that also has cap space. It’s borderline malpractice for an agent to not try and float a rumor that Dallas, the knicks, or the Lakers are interested in giving their client a huge deal

Anyone hear anything about us being interested in Rodney Hood?

Tyreke Evans is apparently talking to the NBL about playing in the Australian league during his NBA-imposed 2 year suspension for recreational drug use.

Collison just announced he’s retiring from the NBA. Surprising

He’s taking 1st meeting with them so it can’t be all smoke and mirrors. I hope he strings them along until July 6th and then goes back to Toronto leaving the Lakers scrambling.

Apparently he’s a Jehovah’s Witness and wants to spend more time with his family and the church. Who knew?

Woj tweeted that Collison was in line for a 10-12 mil annual contract. I wonder if that was an offer from us since Woj is close with Griff.

That number is higher than I think he would have gotten in this market.

Lots of players available, not so much money past the top few tiers of guys.

Tobias Harris. I’d like to have him.

He’s plays better in an uptempo style which I’m assuming we’ll go with..he’s a vet and even though it’s an expensive decision, he could be the go-to scorer for us (and Jrue), taking the pressure off of Zion as well as teaching Ingram about being a pro.

The dude knows how to get buckets and that’s something we’re gonna need to stay competitive. He was lights out in Clipper land.

Well there goes my favorite choice for backup PG. Always wanted Collison on this team and after several times of thinking it could happen, it looks like it will never will. Damn Jehovah witnesses strike again.
