Forgot about one guy who sets up really nice screens and is available for trade..Mitchell Robinson. Is only 26 and getting paid 15 a year.

Ayton has 2 years, 69.5mil left on his deal. Will be 26 this year.
For what he is and his cost, I don't want him. He is a neutral center that costs 10mil annually too much for no reason. I rather have brought JV back.
I hope this is more of posturing to get Cleveland to bite on Allen or Orlando for WCJ.
Now that we somehow got Murray like that, I'm not sure I'm a fan of just moving Ingram for "a center". Its not a center's league anymore when you can't stretch the floor & defend. Allen is that prototype you want a pick & roll guy who can defend/rebound...but those guys do not take over playoff games.

The last 4 MVPS were given to centers lol. We aren’t the best rebounding team outside of JV. Plus we got killed in the paint and the PNR.
I take Levert and Allen for BI tbh.

Jokic and embiid are unique elite centers.
Jokic is arguably the best passing big the game had ever seen. Embiid is the most dominant 3 level scoring center and solid defensive player currently.
Fill out the rest of the "top 10" players and it's all wings and large guards.

I’m just going to follow this list
LINK
Anthony Davis, Domantas Sabonis , Giannis, and Kevin Durant all played at the 5. That’s 6 players in the top 10 who played the C position. We don’t have that luxury since none of our players are over 6’10 besides our rookie.
Look at what Minnesota traded for Gobert. Wembanyama is ROY and Chet was second.
Lively and Hortford might not show up on the stat sheets but they made a huge impact during the game.
Zubac, Turner, Hartenstein, Allen, Adebayo, Lopez, JV are the other centers in the playoff and they made an impact.
You really think Tatum and Luka get rebounds without their big man boxing out?

But when we do, they're moving
The fact that Steven Adams is maybe the best screen-setter in the NBA and Jonas sucks at it is the main reason that swapping Adams for Jonas didn't work out for us.
If we'd still had Adams last season, the whole "BI as primary ball-handler experiment" would've worked so much better. We don't talk enough about the fact that Dort stayed glued onto BI in the playoffs because JV couldn't get him off.

We’ve literally got no use for Levert on this team. And Jarrett Allen is a piss poor pick and roll scorer.
I’m good with hanging on to Ingram at this point instead of flipping him basically straight up for a limited Center.
If we move Ingram for Jarrett Allen and Caris Levert with no less than 3 firsts coming back our way, I might puke.

Well well well Lauri IS available
Posted on 6/29/24 at 9:32 am to 50_Tiger
Yeah, issue is dealing with Ainge he will want 5 1sts and a good young player, and Lauri will want a max deal next year which is 50 million

We would need a backup 3 if we trade BI.
How is Jarret Allen a terrible PNR player when he was leading PNR one year? When Mobley was out, he went on a tear and was a play maker. Jarrett Allen averaged 17.1 points, 12.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 32 games without Evan Mobley this season. Thats not a limited center at all.
Levert averages 14/4/5 on the bench. Why wouldn’t you want him on your team?
This year, 70% of his offense was pick n roll

This post is wrong on so many counts :lol;
Aside from being just straight up wrong about Allen, what outrageous value are you putting on Ingram?
Pels fans dump on Ingram all year and now it’s trade time they’re ready to puke if he doesn’t bring a kings ransom.

Expensive but I guess they're desperate since Eric Gordon's heart ain't in Phoenix anymore.

Yea there seems to have been a bit of a big man resurgence. In the west you are going to be dealing with:
Jokic
Wemby
Chet
Gobert/Kat
Anthony Davis
East still has Giannis and Embiid, with Banchero ascending.
Lot of quality bigs in the league right now
