10MM a year for three years
that’s stealing

outstanding team building by the front office.

only loose ends now are Lewis, Liddell and Hayes. They have plenty of options on which way to go. I think they hang on to temple for the rest of the season to mentor dyson. Since Liddell isn’t going to play I think they can wait on his roster spot

Nah, but seriously, great news regarding Nance. He’s a solid player and an incredible leader/culture bearer to our young guys.

Pels have: - Zion signed through 27-28 - CJ signed through 25-26 - Dyson on rookie deal until 25-26 - BI signed through 24-25 - Nance signed through 24-25 - Trey on rookie deal until 24-25 - Jose signed through 24-25 - JV signed through 23-24 - Herb on rookie deal until 23-24

- Hernangomez signed through 23-24 - Devonte signed through 24-25 Pelicans have some tradable numbers in there if they ever were going to make a move. Also, the luxury tax is looming. Pels say they'll pay it if the roster warrants it. That could be very, very soon.

Lol. I'd tell him to be that aggressive on the court for once and I'd shut up

Wow both CJ and Larry took team friendly deals to stay with the team. Loving this squad right now.

That is a great deal for what Nance gives you on and off the court. Amazing team guy and should get big minutes at small ball 5 and backup 4.

He really doesn’t stay healthy which may be why his deal isn’t bigger

Why not? F IT, Give everybody extensions. Nothing could ever go wrong cause these contracts always have value and never go negative. We could trade them anytime.. just look at all those people lining up to take Graham and Temple. No such thing as a negative contract.

People are such prisoners of the moment. Another needless extension. Honestly. Who are we bidding against? If Nance was a FA right now, nobody would give him 10M a year. Nobody. There are only a couple teams with that much space. I don't get it..

So now you’re saying Nance wouldn't get a MLE from ANYBODY?

Your trolling is getting ridiculous dude

Why people need to take good, positive news and go negative is pathetic.

we are bidding against ourselves after the cap explodes, so that we don't have to pay him $15 million per year.

So, who are they targeting?

I think this depends on the play of Kira, DD, and Hayes.

You could assume Graham+ Temple is 16 mil outgoing halfway through the season.

If DD is legit then this is way more likely. If Kira is decent it’s more likely. We could retain Kira for prob 5-8 mil coming off his injury on a friendly deal. That would give us 6 guards without Graham. (CJ/BI/ Jose/ DD/ Kira/ Naji).

The big question is what to do with Jax. I personally think he plays well this year and we offer him a similar contract to Nance or tell him we will help him find a team with more opportunity and a bigger contract.

I still say we should have traded Graham, Jax, Kira and picks for Colin Sexton but it’s in da past now.

We should be targeting expiring contracts and future picks with anyone we trade at this point.

I say it all the time, but the win share calculation is right the vast majority of the time. It said he should get a $12M contract and that’s essentially what he got.

Saturday afternoon with a clear blue sky and Brmark is still being the contrarian to any good news that comes out.

It’s okay man. Tell us what’s really going on in your life. Pels talk is very positive lately. We can help you turn the page.
