Dude the last time we made a big deal, we gave up Hart and other pieces to get CJ and Nance who moved the needle absolutely zero. This isn’t a needle mover. Stop letting big names distract you that the team is not any closer to a championship than it was yesterday
My goodness you can't possibly be this stupid

Atlanta couldn’t get more than a 1st at the deadline for him, Dyson and 2 1sts is definitely an overpay

Didn’t realize going the playoffs in 2 out of 3 years and winning more games each season meant the needle wasn’t being moved lol.

I’m more than ok with this trade
I think Ingram still probably has to be moved

Just did the math, either this trade has to be completed before the start of the league year Monday, or more players will be going out. Murray’s salary is 25 million this season, with Larry and Dyson we can only take back 21.5 million, so a minimum contract will either have to be added or trade will have to be processed immediately before the new league year.

You’re ok with mediocrity, I get it. Dejounte is not even that good. Josh Hart ended up being the best player in the last big deal Griff made. We just picked up another starter who doesn’t shoot a good 3 pt %. Woo hoo. Can’t wait to watch the floor get clogged another year because Zion, Dejounte, and BI have zero spacing. Another year of Trey (our 2nd best player) coming off the bench

Would JRE's contract be enough?
I wonder if that's why we exercised it.

No Dyson means more Hawk too......

No shot we still have BI after this trade. Used Car Salesman did something amazing.

Wat
You seriously think that?

I wonder if we’re going with option 1 or option 2:
Option 1: A bounty of picks and a starting center that’s average or slightly above average
Or
Option 2: No picks but a very good starting center + a bench piece
We have to move CJ or BI and your obviously get a lot more for BI and you can let CJ age gracefully and run the second unit with Jose. But with no Naji and no Dyson, your length on the second unit is…not optimal

I don’t think we got fleeced at all. Dyson will never be anything, Larry is a hard worker but he has huuuuge flaws and we all know that. Picks are picks. We gotta find another big now and wtf are we gonna do with BI

Holy shite let Griff cook
That was a fleece and now what to do about C?? Resign Val at a team friendly deal or BI going out for one?

I think you probably try to keep 6th man CJ but move Ingram. At least that’s probably what I would do if I was Griff

I dont know how to make a JA trade work with BI, but maybe a three team with some center coming here will work

Good trade, although Pels lose their small ball big 'Thanks Larry' they add talent at a position of need and keep their depth except at the pivot.

Close but no, it would take JRE and EJ
Easiest way is to process it before the start of the league year. It does two things:
1) Makes money work
2) Doesn’t hard cap Pels

Lakers have been rumored to be wanting Murray for over a year too, kick rocks LeBum!

Awesome trade for New Orleans.
Got the best player in the deal, which is what you always want. Traded two bench players and some mediocre picks for a quality starter.
