You created a thread about Mike Greenberg

That in itself was enough....

Then the IFs that he uses along with the IFs from the fanbase.... come on

It is September now, so the off szn is almost over....but gosh

Zion/BI plays 60+ games

1. I doubt 60 is enough.
22 games without zion.
22 games without ingram.
some overlap.
60 May be a reasonable expectation but imho its not enough to get the 4 seed. guys as young as ingram and zion could play 75.
curry had early years of 80 and 79.

2. what's herbs next jump stats?

I and several other posters wanted tm3 for pels at 10.
care to specify how his next jump looks like?

I appreciate the question.

We should be hoping our two max players can finally give us at least 65 games.

With that alone (not to mention CJ) we were on a 52 win pace last season (BI + CJ). Would you not agree Zion wins you an additional 5-10 games alone?

I need Herb to elevate his 3p % to ~ 38% and play the insane defense.

His avg game stat line should be somewhere around 13-15ppg 2-3/5 3PT made. 4 asst 2 stl

Trey Murphy depending on minutes given has a higher offensive ceiling than Herb. However I’m willing to bet Willie wants and needs his defense to elevate first before he sees more significant time on the floor. The playoff performance obviously helped Willie trust him a bit more.

A stat line of 12 ppg 3 assist but drastically better defense will help A LOT.

That’s 27 ppg between the two when you have a walking 27 ppg in Zion, 24ppg in BI, and 22 ppg in CJM

We haven’t even mentioned Jval or the rest of the bench.

yes.

Fwiw last year the pels o/u was 38.5

this year its 44.5

so zion and a full year of cj is 6 games in Vegas.

some guys are going on about 3rd or 4th place.
they should bet the over.
cause its going to take low 50s to be sure to get a home series.

memphis without Jj jr is 50.5. he'll be back january if all goes well but its taken him months to get his outside shot back when he's been injured two previous years.

65 isn’t enough either
Ingram is 25 and perfectly healthy
Zion is 22 and has had a year and a half off

75 should be the minimum expectation. If herb leads the team in minutes there is a problem

True, but positive spin...it's a step up from Bledsoe leading the team in minutes 2 seasons ago

Why are you bumping this

If Zion stayed healthy I think there’s a pretty good chance Pels win 4 more games?

Because he is a Lakers fan being a dick and the admins haven't kicked him to the curb yet.

They used to ban posters that were fans of other teams from posting on this board back in the day, a la Boom.

Chicken doesn't give out ban hammers. If he did WIKSF probably would have banned at least 20 people this year.

Negative.

Why do you continuously hang your hat on something that isn't factual?

The Thread was bumped due to past commentary made on the season.... The season is over now so it's interesting to look back and see where people's thoughts and projections were.

That is more useful on a day like today instead of crying over spilt milk

So he’s bumping to say Greenburg was right on the mark? The Pels were in first or close to it when Zion got hurt.
