Isn't Davis bigger than him anyway?

No. But Hill is more of a PF anyway. He is a beast though and will be good if he gets starter minutes somewhere.

Mcgee would mean Anderson is starting SF?

Either that or a 6th man role. Starting lineup could change, too, depending on who we play.

They must really be settin up alot of cap to grab a pretty good player soon.

if we somehow got McGee...its inevitable that Anderson must play the SF position then correct?

Rivers
Gordon
Anderson
Davis
McGee

would be sick as hell...the defensive shortcomings for Anderson playing SF would be covered by the length we going to have in the paint. We won't see many players driving to the rim if we had that team.

Didn't Portland say they would match anything he signed?

I don't think so. Portland will probably match Batum unless we traded them Gordon in which case we wouldn't need to create cap space.

I found that while digging through the "media twitter" page on Hoopshype.

Like I said, I was a little shocked to see Belli on there considering that we were supposedly pulling a S&T of him for to the Clip Show.

At this point we probably just want as many good players as possible which will allow us the flexibilty to throw out the best lineup possible.

Davis or Anderson may become our "6th man" a la James Harden

do any of you consider that IF we did get a guy like McGee it may mean Davis is coming off the bench for a little while?

My guess is the starting Lineup would look more like

Vasquez
Gordon
Aminu
Anderson
McGee

with Rivers, Davis, and J-Smooth getting significant minutes off of the bench. Anderson playing the 3 makes me cringe.
