I can see trading Zion. But Willie’s a shite coach both in strategy and development from what we’ve seen.

I'm not surprised.
Griffin = keeping Zion.
His firing pretty much sets the stage to trade him.

Trade Zion and keep Herb, Trey, and CJ??? With Joe Dumars running the show??? I literally could not have dreamed up a scenario to be worse than this. What a losing organization. I really might just not be able to care anymore.

Our only hope is to wait out certain people and hope the next ownership is smarter. And doesn't immediately move the team.

I wonder if they could pull off a Zion for Booker deal. It's probably shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic for both teams, but it seems like that could give both teams a fresh start with the current builds looking like the wheels are about to come off.

Shamit has also said people have tried to buy the team from Gayle who would keep the team in Nola. She’s turned them down. Probably won’t sell until the nba expands with Las Vegas and Seattle.

Just to be honest, the Pels really aren't a hobby

I barely watched at all this year. Barely paid attention.

I really don’t understand trading Zion with his value being low. He looked amazing when he played this year. I get it, he played 30 games, but outside of the hamstring injury that was an organizational decision. I didn’t watch one non Zion game post BI injury because frankly, the team was awful and not interesting. I watched every game Zion played in post injury because they were fun and offered hope.

If we get the number one pick I can understand trading him. That should also mean trading Trey and Herb as they wouldn’t be on Flagg’s timeline. I would rather plug Flagg in with what we have but at least I could understand it. If we get pick 3-8 I really don’t get it. Zion remains our best chance to be good and to make people care.

On top of that, Joe Dumars. I think I am going to vomit.

The Joe Dumars hiring really emphasizes the “Keep Willie” portion of this. Find the only old school moron dumb enough to think he can coach modern day basketball.
