Interesting aspect of Spurs/Pels game tomorrow night will be...

---comparing 2 guys that many thought Pels had to choose from in the 2022 draft...Daniels and Sochan. I was a lean toward Sochan as I considered him a possible small ball 5 but had no problem when Pels went with Daniels instead. I saw Daniels as an eventual BIG PG...which I STILL do, BTW.
---Funny thing is...I think the Spurs are trying to make Sochan into a 6'8" 230lb PG. Sounds crazy but I think Popovich knows what he's doin'. And I STILL think Sochan could be a part time small ball 5 (just not sure what to do with Wemby in that situation) NBA is changing what they think a PG is...and glad to see the Spurs, who I've always liked...keeping up with the changing view on what a modern day PG can be. Just watched Sochan go against Trae Young tonight...gotta admit I didn't see this one coming. Be interesting tomorrow night, for sure.

Pop doesn't know what he's doing. He has been terrible since his wife passed
He is a shell. He dosent want fans booing an opponent. He is soft

Well The Spurs are developing Sochan because they are in the position to give him significant minutes and experiment with his play while encouraging him to take shots.
We're not in that position so Dyson is naturally going to be well behind Sochan in his offensive development.

Pop was late...to recognize the explosion of the 3-pt shot in the NBA. He never liked the 3-pt shot...deep down, probably still doesn't. His main problem was losing Kawhi (thanks, UD)...and getting next to nothing, when Kawhi went to Toronto. Having said that, Pop DOES have a way of rubbing people the wrong way...on many issues.

Spurs have had a wild ride the last coupla years, for sure. Losing Primo...imo...was a pretty big hit. Primo may never amount to anything...but many folks (including Pop)...thought the guy had huge potential, which was why they drafted him so much earlier than most others expected.

I only watched Sochan a few times last year, but I was impressed. He reminded me of a young Ron Artest.

Spurs fans hate Sochan playing over Tre Jones. They feel Sochan doesn’t even look for Wemby.

If I'm honest I hope they rest Zion for the Spurs game since CJ and Trey are back and let Zion play against the Bulls where he'll be more impactfull.

Me and a buddy bought $200 seats tonight to add Wemby to the list of top players we have seen and he is doubtful to play tonight. The one time im genuinely mad an opposing player is hurt

Yeah I bought $200 plus tickets to see Wemby also for me and my son. Just went to the 76’ers game and was disappointed when they scratched Embib.
Unfortunate if Wemby doesn’t play.

Or maybe since he's healthy you have him play both since that's what he's paid to do and what helps the team win more games.
