Seriously, this has been a crazy news day, more than SVG getting fired has happened.

CP3 and Kawhi are out indefinitely

Phoenix Suns All-NBA guard Chris Paul has entered COVID-19 health and safety protocols and is sidelined for an indefinite period of time, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Clippers fear All-NBA star Kawhi Leonard has suffered an ACL injury, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. He is out indefinitely.

SVG and Scott Brooks are no longer head coaches

quote:

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn · 3h

ESPN Sources with @_Andrew_Lopez: After one season, Stan Van Gundy is out as the New Orleans Pelicans coach.

Marc Stein @TheSteinLine 16m

The Wizards have formally announced that they are moving on with a coaching search after they did not come to terms on a new contract with Scott Brooks.

The shadow GM that Luka doesn't like apparently just won a power struggle. Is Cuban playing with fire?

The Mavericks announce that they have "mutually parted ways" with president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson.

Jazz are about to close out this series and get Mike Conley back before CP3 is available.

this could be huge. Still doubt Luka asks to leave but it may get interesting. Or it was Nelson just making up a story to get rid of Bob. Which backfired on Nelson

Edit: well they got rid of both of them. Cleaning house

Damn, I saw the play where Kawhi hurt his knee. He played the rest of the game, so figured he was fine. Sucks for the Clippers, they can never get a break. Hopefully cp3 is back in time to match-up with the Jazz.

Next update on Paul is Saturday, which means that he's likely not going to miss any time, because the first game of his next series is Sunday at the earliest.

Have they? KOC said Bob was out, but then Wos said he had good intel that he wasn't out.

Luka apparently not happy about Nelson getting fired. Apparently having a press conference tomorrow about it

- Luka is upset at Donnie Nelson firing
- Luka will comment about the firing tomorrow
- There are not currently ongoing talks on his extension.

That seems like a big deal.

This guy either has compromising pictures of Cuban or he's convinced him he can win a game of Chicken with Luka. Which, maybe he can, but what do you really win in that game?

Hell I’d send Zion straight up for him. It’s a guards league and he’s shown he can be the best player on a shite team and actually be good enough to make the playoffs. And he’s actually very good in the playoffs too.

Luka, Ingram and all of our assets and we’d be in a really good spot.

Call it whatever you want and downvote away, but Luka is literally the only player in the league that if certain grumblings and signals have legs(and only Griff and Zion’s close people has a beat on that pulse), and push comes to shove, I’d be willing to trade Zion for Luka straight up…..But you explore every other option and get a GUARANTEE Luka is resigning with you.

Agreed, but I start by offering everything else first.

Absolutely.

And only if

1.) you get confirmation Luka will resign

2.) You truly feel Zion is sending out the threshold level of signals that he may try to pull something similar and force his way out, or do the unthinkable and not sign an extension.

Mavs

Add Kira, NAW and about 3 more picks to get in the neighborhood.

Chris Paul is an idiot if he tested positive for the virus.

If he tested positive, I do not believe he got vaccinated. I am sure his supporters will say he did.
