If not Rondo than Borrego if the current list of candidates is all they have .

Hetzel has been assistant with bunch of loosers.Magic coach sounds like another Willie Green and if you can’t make it with Lakers how are you going to improve Pelicans.

Disagree tbh, Borrego has been a loser for a decade. He is the equivalent to a Willie Green. Just more O Minded vs D Minded.

I’m going to play devils advocate for minute (I Don’t want Ham) but Ham was the coach on the team that started 2-10 and went to the Western Conference Finals (something this illustrious organization has never been). Then he makes the playoffs the next year and he’s fired.

Our standards can’t be those of the Lakers. The NBA is a league of haves and have nots, we aren’t in that circle.

The only thing that makes sense is that the last 3 years there were A LOT of fans who were so sure that the roster wasn't the issue and we'd be a contender if the only change we made was replace Willie with Borrego.
Even though the data shows that Borrego is just as bad, and in some cases worse, as Willie, the message board/sports debate culture has taught people to never admit you were wrong, just double down to the bitter end instead.

I’m not sure why fans ever thought the roster wasn’t a problem. Our “best” player for the last 7 seasons is the height of a SG, but is a one dimensional player / scorer at the basket.
Take the best coach in their prime and you wasn’t competing for a chip.

He was fired because he lost the team and they basically revolted against him. Was more so that than the record.
